CSI: Miami

By the Book - S10-E6

Deliberate mistake: When the CSI team reported to the island to find the dead body hanging upside down, they kept repeating how the body had been completely drained of blood. Yet, every time they showed the body, the jugular vein distention was very obvious. This could only occur in a live body or one still full of blood. Not a blow your socks off type of error but one very noticeable by anyone in the medical profession.

REHUTCH

Going Under - S5-E2

Continuity mistake: After Calleigh's Hummer is hit from the rear, it is shown going into the water with no visible damage to the front of the vehicle. After the first commercial break it is being pulled from the water with a dented and buckled hood.

Tinder Box - S1-E22

Trivia: Because the episode 'Tinder Box' closely resembled (and was likely based on) the fire at a nightclub in Rhode Island that killed 100 people, the local CBS affiliate decided not to air the episode so soon after the event.
