Queeg - S2-E5

Audio problem: During the conversation in which Holly wants to prove he has an IQ of 6000 (while Lister and the Cat are scrubbing the floor), there is a brief moment where you can see the TV Holly is on (at an angle). You can hear sound coming from him, but his lips aren't moving. (00:16:55)

Suggested correction: This is because they are not in the hologram simulation suite at this point, they are in the control room. When the explosion occurs, and when Holly realises it was the yellow cable Lister was meant to use, they are in the hologram simulation suite. The scene then cuts to them in the control room afterwards, and Holly is standing in his current position because he has just entered through the door to the control room.

Continuity mistake: When Rimmer asks Queeq what article 5 is, Queeq is facing slightly to the left. The camera angle changes and he is then facing straight forward. (00:08:25)

Continuity mistake: At The End of the chess game, the layout of the pieces shows the first three moves of the game. As the game obviously had more moves than this, the chess board graphic was wrong. (00:25:40)

Rimmer: The thing about Captain Oates... The thing you have to remember about Captain Oates... Captain Oates... Captain Oates was a prat.

Answer: Presumably he does, but it's never been used in any material related to the show. He is the only Cat left (as shown in Series 1), so even if he had once had a name, nobody would know it.

Answer: In the book, the Cat finds the concept of a name confusing, as he's convinced he's the center of the universe and the idea that someone wouldn't know who he was is baffling.
