Continuity mistake: When Jenny (the brat) and her friends leave, Miranda stares at them and the menu she holds appears and disappears randomly between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Sam asks her friends if anyone has had the bad taste semen problem, Miranda's mug is on the table. Half a second later it is close to her mouth.
Continuity mistake: During breakfast Carrie asks Charlotte if they should get coffee or kill themselves, then the blue napkin under her hand suddenly appears on the table.
Continuity mistake: While unpacking at Charlotte's place, she holds one candle in one shot, but they suddenly become two a second later.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie arrives at WB Studios, the guard has no paper on his hand, but one suddenly appears in the following shot.
Continuity mistake: When at WB Studios, the position of the paper on Carrie's windshield is close to the brim in one shot, and away in the following.
Continuity mistake: Charlotte asks Trey for the guest list and he hands it to her wit his left hand. A shot later he holds it with his right hand.
Continuity mistake: When Carrie debates with Miranda whether to call Big or not, Carrie holds the pillow close to her chest in one shot, but over her thighs in the other.
Answer: I'm a long-time fan of the show, having re-watched it many times, and I definitely remember slightly different dialogue at the end of that episode than what's on my DVD. I'm afraid I have no idea why this change might have been made or any other info, but you're not insane.
