Continuity mistake: When the girls are watching TV and eating popcorn, all along the scene Miranda's hand movements are not continuous between shots. Most noticeable when Carrie asks her if she hates the babyshower because it's Laney's, Miranda's hand swaps from reaching the bowl with popcorn to away from it.

Continuity mistake: When Sam tells Turtletaub to twirl, a woman walks very close to him, but disappears in the following wide angle.
Answer: I'm a long-time fan of the show, having re-watched it many times, and I definitely remember slightly different dialogue at the end of that episode than what's on my DVD. I'm afraid I have no idea why this change might have been made or any other info, but you're not insane.
