When Carrie comes in, there is a clear shot of the entire table, and the baby photo is still nowhere in sight. But in the shot where Carrie sits down at the table with the girls, the baby photo is suddenly sitting upright on the table near Charlotte, and fully visible. There was no time for this to happen, as they are just sitting down. Carrie is still hugging her friends (Charlotte) at the table. (00:41:40)
Suggested correction: The scene doesn't take place in real time. When they hug each other at the door the food has not been served. After the hugging it cuts to all four seated and the breakfast already on the plates, with the picture in sight. Therefore, they had plenty of time to see the menu, order, wait for their food and, of course, place the picture on the table.
