Continuity mistake: Just before Carrie sees the mouse, she sets her two wine glasses down on the counter in the middle. The mouse appears and the shot cuts to her screaming, then to Alecsander slamming the frying pan down on the mouse, and the two glasses have moved to one side, out of the way of the pan.
Plot hole: When Carrie calls the girls from Aleksandr's couch, she is wearing one outfit. In voice-over, she says she stayed at his apartment for 4 days. But then when she finally arrives home, she is wearing a completely different outfit. How would she have so many clothes to wear, when she didn't expect to be away from home for 4 days? She wasn't carrying any luggage or other clothing with her when she came home, either. (00:09:25)
Continuity mistake: When Sam and Miranda watch the dog contest, there are two shots of Carrie: one with her arms down, listening to them; and a second one with her arms raised, fiddling with her scarf. This changes back and forth. (00:15:12)
Continuity mistake: When Carrie talks with Alek late at night at his studio, his right hand is on his cheek or not depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: When the dog contest starts, Miranda is clapping, then stops and lowers her hands. From the opposite angle, a shot later, her hands are raised and she is clapping and stopping again.
Continuity mistake: While Charlotte and Anthony groom the dog for the contest, a girl in a blue and white striped T-shirt walks by several times in all directions, no continuity at all. Also, the rest of the passers-by disappear in the opposite shots.
Continuity mistake: When the breakfast scene starts, Sam's hand position holding the mug is inconsistent between shots.
