Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Enemies - S3-E17

Revealing mistake: Watch Xander's right leg as Angelus punches him onto the sidewalk - it bends the wrong way at the knee and flies up to his waist, showing that it's a dummy.

Shay

Chosen - S7-E22

Revealing mistake: In the last episode, 'Chosen', Anya beheads two Ubervamps. The second time she swings the sword it very noticably doesn't go anywhere near the Ubervamp's neck, closer to its stomach.

Shay

When She Was Bad - S2-E1

Revealing mistake: As Willow, Cordy, Miss. Calendar and Giles are wheeled over the bones of the Master, Giles goes past and his hand brushes against the bones - the skeleton bends, revealing that it is rubber. (00:36:10)

A New Man - S4-E12

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Giles and Ethan Rayne are drinking in the bar, the shots cut between Giles and Ethan frequently. When on Giles, you can see Ethan's hands/arms and his glass in the foreground of the shot, but almost every time the shot switches back to Ethan he's in a different position with no time to have moved. (00:14:40)

Innocence (2) - S2-E14

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Drusilla and the new reformed Angelus are in the shopping mall and they got blown over the side after Buffy fires the grenade launcher at the Judge, you can tell that it was Mike Mass and not David Boreanaz that got blown over the side.

Two To Go (1) - S6-E21

Revealing mistake: In the opening of the season 6 episode "Two To Go", Willow has gone crazy and is trying to kill the two remaining members of the Trio, so she is pulling the brick wall of the jail apart brick by brick. The problem is that if you look carefully, they are obviously not bricks being pulled away; they look more like plastic or plaster.

Amends - S3-E10

Revealing mistake: In the shot with Buffy and Angel on the hill when it first starts snowing, the snow appears much more dense in the middle of the shot, over the characters, than it does on either side, showing where they centred the machine they used.

Nightmares - S1-E10

Revealing mistake: When Xander punches out the evil clown if you freeze-frame you can see the punch missed the clown by quite a distance, I noticed it without freezing it but it's better to see if you do. (00:35:35)

troy fox

Gone - S6-E11

Revealing mistake: When Buffy is at the desk of the social assistant you can see the white wire at the left of the keyboard. The white wire controls the fake keyboard: you can see the wire moving. (00:20:50)

julien bouchard

Shadow - S5-E8

Revealing mistake: When Glory creates the demon snake thing, we see a CGI image of the creature, but Glory and Buffy are nowhere to be seen. When we are shown where they are standing, their position should have been visible when the snake demon was created. (00:27:05)

Enemies - S3-E17

Revealing mistake: After Faith brings Angelus back, when she goes to punch him and he blocks, the stuntman switch is very obvious - he's noticeably taller, has different hair and doesn't even seem to be wearing any vampire make-up.

Shay

Crush - S5-E14

Revealing mistake: When the porter is dragged back onto the train at the start you can see (more obviously if you watch in slow motion) that there's absolutely nothing grabbing him, not even someone's shadow. (00:04:55)

Shay

Chosen - S7-E22

Revealing mistake: Early in the final fight, Vi makes a flying kick to knock an Ubervamp off the cliff. As she lands, she swings back and twists slightly, suspiciously like one would do if suspended on a wire. There is no way she could gain this motion by kicking straight off the vamp as shown. (00:29:00)

Phoenix

Touched - S7-E20

Revealing mistake: When Giles slashes the Bringer's neck in the basement, you can tell that there is no entry wound and that the fake blood was merely applied to the actor's neck to give the impression of it being slashed.

THGhost

Pangs - S4-E8

Revealing mistake: One of the arrows that Spike gets hit with passes through just below his left shoulder, but there are times when you can tell that it is a fake arrow because the part of the arrow sticking out at the front moves and the part at the back does not. Look at the arrow just after Buffy turns Hus into a bear.

THGhost

Phases - S2-E15

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Giles is driving Buffy to the Bronze if you look closely you can see people's heads pushing the car because it had broken down. (00:17:10)

Halloween - S2-E6

Continuity mistake: Willow is turned into a ghost. Throughout the entire episode, she can't touch anything (can't turn the pages of a book, etc.), yet towards the end when she and Giles go to Ethan's shop, and she leaves, you can hear that she opened and closed the door, even though she can walk through walls and can't actually touch the door. The curtain moves when she leaves too. (00:34:05)

Touched - S7-E20

Spike: You listen to me. [Kneels in front of her.] I've been alive a bit longer than you, and dead a lot longer than that. I've seen things you couldn't imagine, and done things I prefer you didn't. I don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I follow my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes, a lot of wrong bloody calls. A hundred plus years, and there's only one thing I've ever been sure of: you. [Buffy looks away; he reaches toward her face.] Hey, look at me. I'm not asking you for anything. When I say, "I love you, " it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you. And I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.
Buffy: [Quietly.] I don't wanna be the one.

The Yoko Factor (1) - S4-E20

Question: At the last moment before leaving for good, Angel pauses to tell Buffy "I don't like him" [Riley], to which she replies with a large smile "Thank you." Why does she take this comment surprisingly well? From an ex boyfriend to her new boyfriend? It's not like it sounds like a friendly warning of any sort, nor a joke given the tense situation between the two guys in the episode. And the smile on Buffy's face does not make her response look ironic either, more like loving/caring. Is that a cross over reference to another dialogue in the Angel series?

AnthonyA

Chosen answer: Angel is saying that he is still jealous and Buffy recognizes that this is his way of saying he wishes that they could be together. That is why they both smile.
