Continuity mistake: When the bald girl is talking to Kirsh about the scorpion, the IV vial hanging beside her initially has its label turned so that the metal support bar is covering it. Continuity mistake: After Captain Morrow threatens to put the older guy confined to quarters once they argue over the specimens, the doctor is sitting on the right side of the screen with his hands between his legs. The camera cuts to a different angle as the older man walks away, and suddenly the doctor's hand is on top of his leg. (00:06:20)
Continuity mistake: At the dinner table, one of the guys asks about the moon, and the girl next to him says, "No, that's Dynamic." Her hand is up on her shoulder by her face and empty. There is a split-second cutaway to two older men, then back to her as she continues talking about "Yutani has Mars and Saturn," mid-sentence, and suddenly now she has a spoon in her hand and it's down at her bowl. Continuity mistake: At the start, the crew just woke up and are eating. The one guy has a bowl, and the doctor tells him he's not supposed to have a heavy meal yet. He takes the bowl to set it down. The woman in the peach-coloured shirt next to the doctor is holding her bowl and has her spoon in it. Then, in the next shot, suddenly she's only just now picking up her bowl to bring the spoon to it.
