Revealing mistake: When Captain Morrow welds the door to lock Zevari out of the Mother room, the computer screen reads "Crew Status?.. Crew Dead." In the next angle, this same text is reflected on Morrow's head, but it still reads the same way. The text should be flipped like a mirror since it's a reflection off his skin. (00:27:35)
Continuity mistake: After the meat container has been knocked over, Hermit gets up and lifts a meat hook to defend himself. He is first holding the hook almost straight up and down when the camera is behind him. When it cuts to in front of him, he is holding the hook out to the side. (00:07:57)
Continuity mistake: As Wendy and Hermit are approaching the Xeno inside the meat container, Wendy passes by a hunk of orange-pink meat that has a long part pointing out. She goes around it as she approaches the Xeno, looking confused. The camera cuts between Wendy and the Xeno several times, and each time it shows her passing this same pointed hunk of meat two more times, meaning the actors went back and walked forward again with them just using different cuts trying to look like it's fluid all forward. (00:06:42)
Continuity mistake: Wendy and her brother, Hermit, are in a meat truck or container thing when the Xeno is staring at them through the flaps. She has her blade and they start to approach to fight the Xeno when she tells Hermit to get behind her, and then he says she's a child and he's the soldier. She tells him, "Not any more!" and then there's a jump cut as she starts to face the Xeno again. Between cuts, Hermit goes from looking at Wendy to straight ahead, and the meat she's next to is different. Where she's standing, it's more of a reddish-orange hunk of meat; then in the close-up, she's next to one of the white hunks of meat and her shadow on it. (00:06:37)
Continuity mistake: Wendy jumps down into a wet underground tunnel, and there are 4 orange lights on the ceiling directly behind her before a gap where the tunnel is crumbling. Then, when it cuts to a close-up of her head, suddenly there are 5 lights behind her. (00:05:00)
Continuity mistake: When Kavalier is telling Kirsh to change the mission to collect the specimens off the ship, Kirsh is walking next to a table with lots of items on it. Moments later, after the call ends, Nibs is asking about Wendy being out there all on her own. The table is shown again, and what appears to have been a small white cylindrical item, possibly a salt shaker, which was next to a few stacked small boxes, appears to have disappeared off the table. Mr. October - S1-E2
Deliberate mistake: After Captain Morrow zaps the Xeno and Hermit, he starts to spray a web-like substance over the unconscious Xeno lying on the floor. The webbing covers it, but it wouldn't have gone under where the creature was lying down. Yet moments later he grabs the Xeno by its feet and lifts it to drag it away, and it now shows that it's fully covered with webbing, even on the underside that the spray had no way of reaching. Continuity mistake: Hermit and Bergerfeld interrupt a party to tell the people inside to evacuate the building. As Bergerfeld is trying to explain the situation to the man who opens the door, he has his hand up gesturing. The guy shuts the door in his face while Bergerfeld's hand is still up; the camera cuts to a different angle and suddenly his hand is down. (00:29:10)
Mr. October - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Hermit runs into Bergerfeld in the building and is holding his walkie radio up. He lowers it to talk to Bergerfeld and then asks him about seeing animals. The camera changes angles for half a second for Bergerfeld to ask if he meant "like pets?" then cuts back to Hermit, and suddenly he's holding his radio up to his face again. (00:28:20)

Character mistake: Nibs, Curly, and Smee are attacked by the eyeball parasite thing, and it jumps at Nibs' face. They are hybrid synthetics and have the super strength of synthetics, but Nibs struggles to keep the eyeball squid off herself. It binds her hands and latches onto her face, and she needs help to get it off. When it lands on the table, Curly throws a small metal pan over the top of it, which it suddenly is unable to just fling off itself despite its strength. (00:26:30)
Mr. October - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: After Curly, Smee, and Nibs find the dead search and rescue guys, Smee is in front with Curly behind him. Then, as she starts to walk to the left to investigate more, the camera cuts, and suddenly she's in front of him. (00:25:20)
Mr. October - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Slightly tells Wendy about when his dad died and they burned him at the pyre. He wonders if he wasn't dead. And when he says "and we burned him anyway," he is first looking in her direction but up. Then in the next shot, he's looking straight forward. (00:09:45)
Mr. October - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: When Dame is watching the interview videos of the kids, the blue light of the TV is shimmering and reflecting off her face and chin from the side angle. Then, when the camera cuts to a close-up of her, there is no longer blue light on her face. (00:05:35)

Factual error: The state of the crashed ship and destroyed building makes it clear the so-called "Search and Rescue" team has no place here. Armed with rifles, military gear, and helmets, they're not equipped to save lives. Where are the firefighters with axes, EMTs with jaws of life, safety harnesses, or police to secure the scene? This operation looks more like a combat deployment than a genuine rescue effort. (00:03:30)
Factual error: After the spaceship collides with another craft in orbit, it crashes through multiple buildings before coming to a stop embedded in a large structure. Despite this violent descent and impact, scenes inside the wreck show delicate objects, like equipment, containers, and tools, still neatly resting on tables and shelves instead of being thrown around by the crash. (00:48:55)
Suggested correction: It is a spaceship built and controlled by advanced future technology; there could be several systems on that ship preventing items from being thrown about. A popular technology in sci-fi is inertia dampers or null fields that can hold items in place.
While "inertial dampeners" exist in other sci-fi, Alien: Earth never establishes such tech. The Alien series is known for grounded, industrial realism; objects always scatter in crashes or turbulence. Given the ship's massive impact through buildings, items staying neatly on tables isn't consistent with the tone or physics of the series.
1) The ships have artificial gravity and faster-than-light drives. This means that they are able to manipulate Newtonian physics. 2) Doesn't the fact that everything isn't smashed establish that they have some kind of "inertial dampers"?
Continuity mistake: When Kirsh is leading the Hybrid Synthetics to the helicopter/dropship on the landing pad, Kirsh is walking out front in the middle of the group. Then the camera cuts to behind them as they start to board the ship, and suddenly the taller guy is right behind Kirsh, to where you can't even see Kirsh. Before then, we see Kirsh start to go up the ramp, being almost to the left of the tall guy, no longer in the middle. (00:47:40)
Continuity mistake: When Wendy comes into the room to tell the other Hybrid Synthetics that there's a spaceship crash and they are now a rescue team, the guy with the brown shirt is lying down on the couch and lifts his torso up a little bit to look at her. In the next shot, he's now almost fully sitting up looking at her. The black guy in the blue shirt lying next to the couch also seems to move closer to the couch, almost hugging it, between shots. (00:47:25)
Continuity mistake: When the kids turned, Hybrid Synthetics are in a group circle; three of them are back to back in the middle. As the one called Nibs in the brown shirt says, "I didn't like it." Behind her is the one in the blue shirt, and she lifts her head up. The angle changes to another shot, and suddenly the blue shirt girl's head is down again for her to raise it up once more. (00:46:35)
Continuity mistake: The technician hands Wendy headphones and tells her to put them on and raise her hand when she hears a tone. She is putting on the headphones with both hands, and he raises his hand to demonstrate when saying this. In the next shot, her fingers are in different positions on the headphones, and his hand changes from fingers being straight up and down to more curled. (00:42:25)
Character mistake: After the ship crashes in the city, Search and Rescue enter the scene to get people out of the buildings and ship and save lives. It's a rescue mission... so why the heck are they sending in soldiers fully armed with weapons drawn at the ready to rescue people from a crashed ship? The rescue team doesn't know of the alien threat inside. The people who sent them in also don't know. It was identified as a science vessel. Yet they go in armed with guns at the ready.
