Magical Express Murder Case: File 3 - S2-E12

Audio problem: When Kindaichi understands the trick and runs away from the murder room, Miyuki as usual exclaims "Hajime-chan!" but with a curious flub in animation, her tongue moves but not her lips. Try to say "Hajime-chan" keeping your mouth open all the time, it's fun. (00:18:45)

Magical Express Murder Case: File 3 - S2-E12

Character mistake: In Akechi's flashback, the board with the flight for Los Angeles has accurate names of airline companies (they seem to have swapped "Virgin" with "Kristen", for some reason) but the flights for Seoul is from "KSREAN" Air, clear misspelling of "Korean." (00:14:15)

Magical Express Murder Case: File 3 - S2-E12

Continuity mistake: The writing on her chest disappears from Miyuki's top when Kindaichi shuts the train compartment door, and is back in the rest of the scene save for the shot when he reopens it, which has the same angle. The writing ("PoPo") is sometimes practically at the neckline, other times a few inches below. (00:09:20)

Magical Express Murder Case: File 2 - S2-E11

Continuity mistake: External shot of the "Station Hotel"; there's the sign with glowing letters, and then a smaller one above the front door. The two words are written on separate lines, but the establishing shot of the hotel at the end of the previous episode showed "Station Hotel" written on a single line. (00:03:10)

Magical Express Murder Case: File 1 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: The salad explodes and everyone is pretty rattled by this baffling predicament. Kindaichi is holding the phone with his index fingers outstretched; in the immediate close-up, he's clutching it with all fingers, and in the one next all of a sudden it's against his ear while the bomber is talking continuously. Magical Express Murder Case: File 1 - S2-E10

Character mistake: When the boss of the magical troupe greets the passengers, the clock behind him shows it's 9:40. Noble later complains that he's gone for over an hour, but when he performs the stripping trick on Miyuki, the clock shows it's a couple minutes past 10, so not even half an hour passed. (00:07:40)

Magical Express Murder Case: File 1 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: When Noble asks Miyuki to be his assistant, there is a person with yellow clothes behind her. Their arm is down, straight. In the next shot, the person doesn't move, but when Miyuki changes position she reveals behind her the arm of the person, now bent. (00:09:30)

Magical Express Murder Case: File 1 - S2-E10

Continuity mistake: Throughout the four parter, in a variety of shots (it would be redundant to list them all), the collar of Akechi's orange shirt, which he wears over the brown jacket, disappears, showing just the brown jacket even when the detail of the collar would be visible - and sometimes it is even drawn but colored over wrong.

Murderous Intent of Below Freezing 15 Degrees - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: Everyone is waiting to know what happened to their fellow team member in the snow. Suzumori is leaning with her hand against the window on what turns out to be the right part of a double door. In the next shot where we can see that it's a double door, her hand is in the middle of it though. (00:07:40)

Murderous Intent of Below Freezing 15 Degrees - S2-E9

Continuity mistake: At dinner, look at the close-up of the table shown when they mention that the 'tune-up guy' fractured his leg last year. The guy with the blue sweater, Yukioka, has a full glass of orange juice in front of him and the spoon in the saucer is pointing towards him. Kindaichi butts in making everyone uncomfortable, and in the overhead view of the table the glass is nearly empty and the spoon turned around. (00:05:10)
