Character mistake: Tsubasa loses the ball botching the control with his chest, and the announcer says that Nankatsu is in danger, caught by surprise and need to pull back. Other mistake: The play that ends with the aerial challenge between Musashi's forward and Mamoru Izawa does not make sense, since it happens in the penalty area, which would need to be enormous to allow long range passes and lengthy runs. It was meant to start in the midfield and not in the penalty box, obviously.
Continuity mistake: When Misaki and Tsubasa start talking about the match for tomorrow, the team is placed in parallel rows. In the last shot they are in a circle. (00:03:50)
Other mistake: The first time we see Matsuyama ready for the penalty kick, the ball is noticeably too far back, not at all on the penalty spot. (00:11:55)
Continuity mistake: Four Furano players arrive in front of the penalty area after Hyuga's botched tackle. Meiwa's 2 and 6 are in front of them, but we see them face 2 and 5 instead. (00:09:30)
