Revealing mistake: The VW Beetle's bumper is a prop, covered in wrinkled aluminium foil to allow the dog to bite it, instead of the car's original polished chrome material.

Factual error: The little girl sets the VW Beetle in motion by mildly pushing the gear stick. In reality, she would have needed to press the clutch - or be an exceptionally skilled driver to shift gears in a manual VW Beetle without grinding gears or damaging the transmission - or, more logically, she should have released the handbrake located below her foot.
Continuity mistake: Jaime rolls up the car window to keep Max inside, leaving a 5-centimetre gap. Before the dog breaks the glass, the gap has suddenly widened to about 15 centimetres.
Continuity mistake: When the dog sees the little girl playing peekaboo, she crouches behind the car seat. Depending on the shot, she is resting either one hand or both hands on the seat.
Visible crew/equipment: When Jaime leaves Max, the dog, in the car, two crew members are reflected on the door. The one on the right, wearing a white shirt, is crouching.
Continuity mistake: Inky drops the suitcases filled with money, and only a wad of bills falls out. When the bad guys arrive, dollar bills are suddenly flying everywhere, which makes no sense (but it looks pretty cool).
