Continuity mistake: After they spoke with the grumpy writer, Humphrey tells Camille about the domestic dispute in Lexi's hotel room and they both hop in the car. During this part of the scene, there are several extra leaving the screen either left or right and some are shooting hoops in the background. When we see the two cops drive away, they drive by a few people on the road who are the same extras from before and that were going in separate directions. (00:25:00)

Susie's is unreadable at normal speed, while you can tell that Carl Collins' is a January 2014 statement, and Arnold Finch's is a March 2013 one, not quite comparable nor really making sense being so outdated. His totals don't add up at all, either, supposedly being on the brink of financial ruin but with 12,000 in the account after a positive of 4,000, an in payment of 1,200 and a long series of withdrawals and payments. Continuity mistake: When Humph says."was the intended victim all along", a walking extra in a grey hat quickly pops in view, and disappears in the next shot. Continuity mistake: Inspecting the crime scene, Camille is looking through the victim's extensive wardrobe and wonders how he could afford all those designer clothes. Dwayne says "Good question. Come."; Camille has her right hand on the edge of the armoire door, but at the next shot it is her left hand, with the right on the other panel of the sliding door. (00:07:45)

Factual error: Reading the dull travel guide, the island of Saint Marie is said to be 1/10 of Guadeloupe (≈162 km), 1/8 of Dominica (≈94 km), 1/6 of Saint Lucia (≈102 km), 1/5 of Martinique (≈225 km) and 1/3 of Barbados (≈146 km). How big IS Saint Marie then? It makes no sense! These very specific fractions (Goodman praises how meticulous the book is) contradict each other. It should also be noted that this fictional book is from 1929 and none of those entities were independent nations. (00:18:25)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the episode, when Natasha Thiebert walks away from the table, she walks past the colleague in a loud blue and red shirt (Max). In the close-up when she looks back at the table though, Max passes her by again. (00:00:50)

Continuity mistake: Camille tests how hard it is to reach the room keys (answer; it is very easy). In close-up the key to 276 is unperturbed and with the actual key to the right of the rock, but in the wide shot the key is to the opposite side of the stone fob. (00:07:55)
Answer: There's probably no particular reason. Sets and props on long-running TV shows often change as needed and for various reasons throughout a series run.
