Then just as Rockford walks over to Susan's car, note that on Rockford's car we can see the reflection of the boom operator (wearing a red jacket) on the door, and the reflection of the moving boom pole/microphone on the roof (there's also a reflection of the stationary telephone pole on the roof). Trivia: Noah Beery Jr. Plays "Rocky" Rockford, father of Jim Rockford (James Garner). In real life, Beery Jr. was only 15 years older than Garner.
