Continuity mistake: When the students are queueing up outside the nurse's office, in the first shot of the hallway, a Ra Yellow student can be seen just outside the doorway, and behind him, an Obelisk Blue student can be seen. Continuity mistake: After Jaden destroys Crystal Beats Emerald Turtle and Cobalt Eagle, the two monsters reappear as crystals on the field. When the blue crystal appears, a shadow can be seen beneath it. When the shot cuts, the shadow is a lot smaller. (00:19:48)

Continuity mistake: When Jaden is sitting on the Duel Academy ledge, just after Syrus and Hassleberry are first shown standing on the ground, Hassleberry comments that imaginary companions are a natural part of cognitive development. At this moment, he has his elbow against the large stone behind him. When the shot cuts, the position of his arm on the stone has changed. (00:05:08)

Continuity mistake: After the duel, Chazz looks at his deck and the three Ojama cards can be seen at the bottom. Beneath the Ojama cards, the spell card Mystical Space Typhoon can be seen as the next card in his deck, and no other cards are shown. Two shots after, there is a closer shot of the cards, and Polymerization can be seen beneath Mystical Space Typhoon even though it wasn't visible in the earlier shot. (00:19:20)

Curry Worries - S2-E11

Other mistake: After Hassleberry activates Survival Instinct and removes from play two dinosaur monsters, the attack points of Curry Fiend Roo go up by 600. However, on the point display that is shown when the points go up, the word DEF can be seen, indicating that it is in defence mode. Since it is the attack points of this card that are going up, and it is currently in attack mode, the word ATK should have been shown in the point display instead. (00:16:18)

Camaraderie Contest - S2-E12

Other mistake: Just after Syrus has summoned Ambulance Rescueroid to the field, he uses the effect of Cyber Summon Blaster to inflict 300 points of damage to Hassleberry. At this point, Hassleberry should have 2900 life points (which then go down to 2600). But for a split-second, his life point count reads 4000, which then shifts to 2900 when his life points go down. Continuity mistake: When Syrus arrives in the duelling arena and sits next to Hassleberry and Bastion, two Slifer Red students can be seen sitting behind Chazz. A couple minutes later, after Atticus says he and Alexis are going to conquer the world, it cuts to Hassleberry saying "Man, bro bro's got some issues", and the two Slifer Red students behind Chazz have disappeared. Other mistake: Aster uses the effect of Magical Stone Excavation to send two cards to the graveyard to bring back one spell card. Polymerization is coming out of his graveyard, but a second later, it is now Misfortune that returned from the graveyard. (00:14:10)

Tag Team Trial: Part 2 - S1-E11

Other mistake: Syrus summons to the field Drillroid and has it attack the Gate Guardian in defense mode, but is blocked by Defence Wall because of its effect, and Defense Wall is destroyed. Because of this, Jaden and Syrus lose 500 Life Points. While it does seem logical that their life points would go down because Drillroid has 1600 attack points and Defense Wall has 2100 defense points, they should not lose life points in the first place. This is mainly due to the fact that Drillroid's effect causes a defense position monster to be destroyed instantly, without losing life points. If Drillroid was capable of destroying Defence Wall, then their life points should have remained at 1700. (00:08:00)
