Dig Those Diglett - S1-E31

Character mistake: Brock states that the Diglett are plowing the ground and the Dugtrio are planting the trees, but the opposite is true (The Dugtrio are plowing, and the Diglett are planting).

Hiwada Gym! Forest Battlefield!! - S3-E28

Character mistake: Ash's Chikorita is knocked out by Bugsy's Metapod in the Gym battle against him. Brock mentions that Ash's remaining Pokémon are Cyndaquil and Pikachu, and Ash says, "I'll save Chikorita for later and use Pikachu now." However, Chikorita is the Pokémon that was just defeated, and Ash's remaining Pokémon is actually Cyndaquil, as mentioned by Brock. (00:11:20)

Volcanic Panic - S1-E57

Suggested correction: Brock is saying that Kingler is vulnerable to attacks from the air, not that it is weak to Flying-type moves.

The Fourth Round Rumble - S1-E77

Character mistake: When Officer Jenny orders her Growlithe to attack Team Rocket's balloon, she refers to Growlithe as Arcanine. [This mistake happens only in the English version. In the Japanese version she refers to Growlithe correctly.]. (00:12:21)

Round One: Begin! - S1-E75

Character mistake: When Team Rocket first sees Mandi doing his magic tricks, he produces a bunch of Pidgey. Meowth says "I like those Pidgeotto." He's dealt with Ash's Pidgeotto on numerous occasions, so there's no reason that he shouldn't be able to tell the difference. [This mistake only appears in the English version. In the Japanese version Meowth doesn't even mention Pidgey nor Pidgeotto at all.] (00:04:49)

Tracey Gets Bugged - S2-E16

Character mistake: Misty is notoriously afraid of bugs. She makes this clear whenever bugs are around. She seems to be OK with Tracey's Venonat, but for some reason doesn't think it should be classified as a bug, when its type is Bug/Poison, and it's quite obvious that "Venonat" comes from "venom gnat, " a gnat being an insect. She even directly states that "At least they're [Venonat and Marill] not Bug types." [This error doesn't happen in the Japanese version.]. (00:03:19)

Pikachu Re-Volts - S2-E5

Character mistake: The name of the island Ash and friends visited in the previous episode, is called "Mikan", which is Japanese for orange. As such, it should be pronounced as "mee-khan." However, the narrator pronounces the name as "mike-an" instead. (00:01:10)
