Donnie Brasco (1997)

Continuity mistake: Right after Nicky gets whacked, Donnie and Lefty are in Donnie's car arguing. They show several shots of the outside of the car, with some kind of camera rigged on the driver's rear side of the Caddy. This Caddy however looks different than Donnie's regular Caddy. The paint is faded and some of the body work is very crooked. They probably just found a junk Caddy to mount the camera on.

Donnie Brasco (1997)

Audio problem: Near the beginning of the film Donnie and Lefty are walking down the street and talking. Donnie starts by saying "I ain't got no family". Throughout the whole conversation Donnie's and Lefty's lips are WAY out of sync with what they're saying.

Caddyshack II (1988)

Continuity mistake: When Randy Quaid is trying to make the shot on the giant windmill, he swings and hits the ball. You can see the ball flies almost vertical and way to the right of the windmill. However the next shot shows it landing right on target.

Barton Fink (1991)

Revealing mistake: In the scene where John Goodman is facing off with the cops, the walls of the hotel catch fire as Goodman runs down the hallway towards the cops. You can easily see the pyrotechnic cord strung along the wall.

Revealing mistake: During the scene at the dinner table with Anakin and Padme, Anakin makes a piece of fruit fly around. He then has it land on a plate and cuts it with a fork and knife. It happens fast but you don't really even need slow motion or pause to see that the fruit doesn't react to Anakin sticking his fork or knife in it at all. The knife and fork just vanish into the fruit. (00:53:20)

Revealing mistake: When Dog's gang begins getting in the van after the robbery, John is sitting in the back of the van with the barely conscious traffic warden. The actor sees the others start getting into the van, so he lifts the traffic warden's head up from the floor and just about starts his dialog. He then seems to realise that he's jumping the gun and quickly pushes the traffic wardens head back down. A few seconds later the whole gang is in the van, so the guy in the back picks the traffic warden's head back up and starts his dialog like he was supposed to.

Better Off Dead (1985)

Continuity mistake: Lane goes to his first day of work at "pig burger". A closeup is shown of the owner's mouth as he snarls "Myers...". There's about 1/4 inch of facial hair all over his face. When they cut from the closeup and show the rest of his body you can see that he's fairly well shaven, only some 5 o'clock shadow. (00:53:15)

Better Off Dead (1985)

Audio problem: Monique runs out of the house, holding Ricky's picture. She sits down and starts to laugh at the picture. Her mouth movements don't match the laugh that is heard. (00:39:10)

Better Off Dead (1985)

Revealing mistake: When Lane becomes depressed he goes out to the garage and ties a red cord around his neck and to the ceiling to hang himself. He thinks better of it, but his mother opens the door and knocks him off the steps and he hangs by the cord. If you look closely you can see that there is no cord hung around his neck, he merely holds his hand up and mimics grabbing the cord around his neck. The cord seems to be attached to something on his back. (00:15:40)

Tremors (1990)

Factual error: Throughout the entire film Burt holds all of his rifles' butts underneath his armpit, rather than against his shoulder. A trained "survivalist" such as him would surely know better. Holding the "elephant gun" in such a way would most likely break his arm, wrist and hand when it fired. (00:58:20)

Tremors (1990)

Revealing mistake: When the graboid starts pulling Jim underground, his wife hands him a board to keep him above ground. You can see the thick board bend rather easily while his wife hands it to him. Also when Jim is sucked under ground it bends quite easily as well, as if it were styrofoam.

Held Up (1999)

Factual error: After the weird little man steals Jamie Fox's car, he starts to pull out of the station. You hear an unmistakable tire squealing sound. Unfortunatly the gas station had a dirt ground. It's probably been pointed out a few thousand times that you can't squeal tires on dirt.
