Corrected entry: In the first film Storm Shadow died, in this film he's alive again with no explanation how.

Lost (2004)
Corrected entry: The numbers that appear everywhere in the show actually originated on a completely different TV show. Veronica Mars. A show about a teenage detective juggling school, boyfriends, and her father's investigation practice, where she helps out. In one of the episodes, Veronica takes a fortune cookie's fortune and puts it against her vanity mirror with the numbers showing - 4 8 15 16 23 42.
Correction: Both shows premiered in 2004. Lost used the numbers on the very first episode. "Donut Run", while the episode of Veronica Mars with the fortune cookie and the numbers premiered on January 25, 2006. The numbers were added as a nod to Lost, which was Veronica Mars' Wednesday competition.

CSI: NY (2004)
Corrected entry: Jo is talking to Adam about 1988. She mentions good things happened in '88. She names the songs "Red red wine", "Kokomo" and "Don't worry be happy" as happening in 1988. "Red red wine" is from 1983, from the UB40 album "labour of love". The other two are correct.
Correction: It was rereleased in 1988 in the US as a single, topping the Billboard 100 charts. The original album only reached no. 34 in the US (in 1984), so it makes sense that the single is what she remembers.

Skyfall (2012)
Corrected entry: During the chase on the London Underground, 007 walks past several Metropolitan Police Officers, however the London Underground is policed by the British Transport Police, who wear different uniforms with a high visibility vest.
Correction: Doesn't mean the police can't ride the Underground.

Casino Royale (2006)
Corrected entry: In casting Daniel Craig as the new James Bond, the filmmakers broke with the tradition, starting with Roger Moore, of using an actor who had previously been up for the role. (Sean Connery had been chosen over Moore, Moore over Timothy Dalton, and Dalton as a last-minute replacement for Pierce Brosnan.).
Correction: In Roger Moore's book he wrote that he was never approached to play Bond in Dr. No.
The Inside Dr. No documentary has archival footage of producer Harry Saltzman saying they planned to use Roger Moore in Dr. No, but he was unavailable.

Men in Black 3 (2012)
Corrected entry: One of the headstones seen at Zed's funeral bears the letter M, possibly referring to Michael Jackson who spoke with Zed about becoming "Agent M" in Men in Black II.
Correction: Or it could be a reference to M the head of MI6 in the James Bond Movies. It's only trivia if it's true.
The fact that a headstone is seen with the initial "M" is the trivia, which is true. The possibility is mentioned only to tie the trivia back to the previous film, and in real life Michael Jackson died since MIB II. Nothing in the film series suggest it could M from the Bond films as a possibility.

Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Admiral Enolo Phid impersonates the Sky Marshall for the live broadcast she uses a system where her movements are captured in real-time and the 'Sky Marshall' avatar mimics the actions on the screen. When she says 'And betrayal.' Admiral Phid raises her left hand but the Sky Marshall mimics the action with his right hand. This happens again when she says 'I assure you.' (A raises right hand, SM raises left) When they say 'It will end in total Victory' the Admiral crosses her arms left over right, the Sky Marshall crosses them right over left. (00:34:00 - 00:35:30)
Correction: Because it is mirroring her not copying.

Super 8 (2011)
Corrected entry: During a scene in Joe's room, a model of a TIE Bomber is seen. These did not appear until Episode V (The Empire Strikes Back), which was released about a year after the movie took place.
Correction: That was Darth Vader's Tie Advanced not a Tie Bomber.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986)
Corrected entry: When Kirk and his crew stand before the Federation President, they are there to answer for the charges against them in the previous film. Other than trying to get a ship to Genesis, McCoy should not be included in the hearing since he had no way of knowing that Kirk would break him out of jail, steal the Enterprise, then escape to Genesis.
Correction: Just like you said, they broke him out of jail. At that point he was a fugitive. And he went along with the plan, making him an accomplice.

SGU Stargate Universe (2009)
Corrected entry: The Destiny is following after "seed ships" sent ahead that lay stargates on planets in their path. In the final few episodes of season two the story arc has members of the crew traveling back in time 2000 years to a planet with a stargate in Destiny's path. For this to have happened, a seed ship would have to have arrived and placed a gate more than 2000 years before Destiny arrived. In no other episode was a reason given why a seed ship could or would be that far ahead of Destiny. In fact at one point, Destiny catches up with a seed ship that had been partially disabled, leading to the assumption that they are perhaps decades or maybe even a century or two ahead of Destiny. I can see no logical reason for a seed ship to be 2000 years ahead of Destiny.
Correction: It has been started several times on the show that Destiny was launched several million years ago. Destiny was already in that galaxy with seed ships placing gates.

The Final Countdown (1980)
Corrected entry: Senator Chapman demands some dry clothes aboard the carrier, and is given a khaki naval uniform, which fits him adequately. But Chapman, played by Charles Durning, is a rather portly fellow. The U.S. Navy has weight restrictions, and no one of that weight is going to be doing duty on a carrier deployment. The ship's stores wouldn't have uniforms that large.
Correction: Not everyone "that large" is over weight. I know plenty of people who are large stature and in great shape.

Bones (2005)
Corrected entry: Megan is wearing the exact same shirt in the picture that she is wearing when we see her in the room full of snakes. The photo must have been taken the same day they filmed.
Correction: I have pictures of me wearing the same shirt on different days. Just because she is wearing the same shirt from the picture doesn't make it a mistake.

Let Me In (2010)
Corrected entry: In the scene where the policeman kicks the door to get in to Owen's apartment, in one shot we can see it breaks right under the handle, in another the door is again perfectly untouched. (01:32:45)

Tango & Cash (1989)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Tango first goes into his cell with Slinky, Slinky is trying to play crazy while playing with a slinky. Tango is reading the stock quotes from the paper. In the fold between the news pages there is light at the top showing it is torn. The slinky is then thrown at the center of the page and the paper separates where the tear already was.
Correction: So the paper had a tear in it already. News papers tear very easily. That and Tango is in prison, the paper had to go through a few sets of hands to get to him. He probably wasn't the first person to read that paper.

Paul (2011)
Corrected entry: In one scene towards the end of the movie Nick Frost goes to pull out his "Vampire" sword and it breaks at the handle. In the very next scene he has the sword on his back with the handle intact inside the hilt.
Correction: The blade broke but there were still a few inches of it attached to the hilt. He just put that section back in to the scabbard.

Inception (2010)
Corrected entry: The scene when Arthur and the projection are fighting in the hallway and then in the hotel room is being called "zero gravity", when really, if there was absolutely no gravity, Arthur and the projection would be floating just as Arthur is doing when the van goes off the bridge in the first dream level.
Correction: The van wasn't in freefall at that moment. It was rolling sideways down a hill. The image of the dream "rolling" sideways as well is perfectly accurate.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Sam dies, and the military people rushes towards him at the ground - you can see that when they "hit" him while he is laying there dead, his eyelid is actually moving.
Correction: When A body dies the electrical impulses in the body don't stop immediately. Plus, we don't really know if he was truly dead.

Star Wars (1977)
Corrected entry: In addition to the stormtrooper famously banging his head on the door, if you look behind the stormtroopers you can also see a crewmember quickly moving out of shot just as the door moves up.
Correction: There is someone moving in the background, but after slowing and even pausing the video I can't tell who it is. It almost looks like a 3PO style droid walking past. Remember, the Death Star is a busy place.

A Big Piece of Garbage - S1-E8
Corrected entry: When Fry, Lela and Bender are on the big ball of garbage, Bender picks up a Bart Simpson doll, pulls the cord on its back and the doll then says "Eat my shorts". The batteries should have gone flat by the year 3000.
Correction: Dolls that have a pull cord like that don't use batteries.

Back to the Future (1985)
Corrected entry: The camera that Doc Brown used was a JVC GR-C1, (produced in March 1984) (Also, this particular camcorder was the first built in camera also to feature a tape deck built in).
Correction: A perfectly legitimate camera for someone to have in the year 1985.

Correction: They do show the scar on his chest from the wound. It clearly wasn't fatal, despite appearing so in the first film.
