The Fifth Element (1997)

Corrected entry: When Korben is with the generals in his house, the generals get into the fridge, then when Korben opens the fridge, one of the generals blinks, even though they are all dead.

Correction: They are not dead, that is why one of them blinked.

Corrected entry: When Marty goes to see Doc in 1955 we see Einstein as a puppy. This would mean that in 1985 Einstein would be 30 years old. Though not completely impossible (the oldest dog in the world ever was 29) it is highly unlikely.

Correction: The dog in 1955 is a different dog. The Doc even calls it by a different name after another famous scientist, Copernicus.

Modern Men - S8-E2

Corrected entry: When Rodney phones up about the job interview, and reaches Del Boy, why didn't he recognise the phone number as his own?

Correction: Because the phone number was Del's *new* mobile not their home phone, so Rodney didn't know Del's new mobile number.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

Solitudes - S1-E18

Corrected entry: Carter and O'Neil get trapped on a planet where the DHD does not work, they say that eventually they may get rescued by another team, however if the other team gets there then how are they themselves supposed to get back since they cannot dial home and neither can SGC dial up to them since it is said countless times that you cannot go through a wormhole unless you dialed it, i.e. it is a one way thing.

Correction: But when dialing a world, they always send a probe through first to make sure it is safe and if there is a DHD, so when they send the probe, they could radio the SGC and tell them the DHD is broken which could then be fixed or replaced.

Craig Bryant

Just to add to this: Several episodes established that the protocol for situations where the DHD isn't working is to wait for the SGC to check in on them. Once the SG team explains the problem, over radio, the SGC will send over a portable power source. All they have to do then is hook it up and manually dial the gate to get home. In later seasons, they talk about how the SGC can send a naquadah generator and laptop with the dialing program installed on it.

Corrected entry: When Doc puts a buffer on the train, it has tires in it. No-one had cars so where would he get the tires from?

Correction: They are the tyres from the Delorean.

Liar Liar (1997)

Corrected entry: After Carrey returns from the bathroom after having beaten himself up, the judge says that he has no choice but to suspend the hearing "unless, of course, you feel as if you can continue", to which Carrey, not being able to lie, must respond yes. However, Carrey had been asking all day for a continuance without the spell stopping him from doing so. It's not a lie that Carrey couldn't have continued with his case considering the spell he was under, so he should've been able to answer "no"

Correction: When Carrey said that he would really like a continuance, he wasn't lying, as he obviously did really want a continuance, but when the judge asked if he felt he could continue, he obviously did feel he could continue. So there is no mistake here.

Speed (1994)

Corrected entry: When the sharp curve is coming, Keanu Reeves tells everyone to get onto the side of the bus that the bus will be turning *into*. This would only cause more weight on that side and thus cause the bus to flip.

redbaron2000

Correction: No it wouldn't. The weight was on the correct side.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

Show generally

Corrected entry: There is no way to fit a twenty foot wide circular hunk of metal that far down into the Cheyenne Mountain Complex. We never see anything larger than a personnel elevator so how did the Stargate get down there?

Sol Parker

Correction: In the first episode of series 6 (Redemption), it is explained that there is a retractable roof (remember it used to be a missile complex).
