Question: I think this might be a mistake, but before I list it as that, I should ask first. In the extended edition Aragorn and Gimli save the day by hacking Gothmog to death, then he yells "Legolas." and Legolas jumps up on the oliphaunt and after over a minute of the oliphaunt riding, he then kills it. Gimli is now somehow in front of Legolas when he says "That still only counts as one." How did he get from the Gothmog battle, to when Legolas finishes with the oliphaunt? It's probably well over a mile that the oliphaunt marched, so Gimli couldn't have caught up, and it couldn't be that he said that later on when they were together, because Legolas turns his head as in "Look what I just did" right after he rides off the trunk.

Question: Why were the two bad guys in the luggage room in the beginning?
Answer: They were placing devices that monitored the radio and phone chatter at the airport. That is why the "bad guys" always knew what the "good guys" were up to. I say devices becuase they placed two devices as the "decoy" one is found later by one of the soldiers.

Question: Near the end, where you see the Jedi ignite their lightsabers, Eeth Koth (the one with horns) is shown to have a green lightsaber. So why in Star Wars: Clone Wars, does he have a red lightsaber? Is it because red = bad guy?
Answer: Without having seen Episode 3, no-one can probably answer this correctly. It can be assumed to be one of two things (1) He has indeed become a "bad guy" or (2) He takes a lightsaber from a "bad guy" and uses it to fight.

Question: What exactly are the types of frogs that can spontaneously change gender in a single-sex environment, that Grant was referring to?
Answer: To be exact. Grant is reffering to "amphibian DNA" most commonly found in species of West African frogs. It is the amphibian DNA that allows the frog to change gender. It is not specifically related to frogs only.
This type of behavior has been observed in survival situations. Unbalanced populations.

Chosen answer: His Nokia phone has a video recorder on it. He simply records the display on the camcorder with his phone.
But the video on his phone was too clear, not like he recorded the video on the camera but like he downloaded directed to the phone.
Answer: Even if he'd been able to copy the video onto his phone, we see him running through water under the pier. There would've been water damage to the phone, rendering it useless.

Question: In the scene where McClane kills the first terrorist,why doesn't he just shoot him? He wastes bullets and risks his life by fighting him. He's got a gun on him at point blank range,it would've been so much easier to just shoot him.
Answer: As it is said during that scene, John is a cop, he won't shoot unless its neccessary. He is smart enough to try get information first. You can't get any information from a dead terrorist. Then when he tries to use force, the struggle eventuated. John actually didn't mean to kill him, he just so happened to be holding onto the right part of his head as they were rolling down the stairwell.

Question: In the scene where Ripley is describing the new Alien, she says it 'moves different to the other ones'. I could never get a good enough look at the alien to understand what she meant. What did she mean and why does it move differently?
Answer: She means that the alien it moves on 4 legs, whereas the other aliens moved primarily on two legs. This alien came out of a dog in the theatrical version and from an ox in the Assembly cut version, which can only move on 4 legs. This hints to the fact that the alien inherits the characteristics of its host.

Question: Why does Budd lie about his Hanzo sword to his brother, Bill?
Answer: Probably due to their recent "disagreement", as mentioned during their discussion. Since the sword was a present from Bill, it had should have had sentimental value. Budd is probably trying to make Bill think he no longer "cares" about Bill by showing little "love" for it. His way of making Bill feel bad for their recent "trouble".

Question: Did anyone notice that the sky during the scene where Fait and Ling are driving across a bridge is particularly deep blue? I can't decide if that's a really deep blue sky or it's a blue screen without the sky added in.
Answer: The whole scene shows them driving on the bridge obviously shot from a helicopter. The whole sky is blue, so unless they had a very large blue screen, then I would say NO. Besides that scene is supposed to represent night-time. Therefore it's supposed to be the glow of the moon.

Question: When Peter is saving the child from the burning building, he attempts to leap the gap which appears, but does not make it. Why can't he still use his Spidey powers to leap the gap or web sling his way over it? We have seen how his powers have become inconsistent, but not non-exsistent.
Answer: He hadn't gotten his confidence back. Plus with all the fire and smoke aroung he would have found it difficult to concentrate. He had enough trouble concentrating in the alleyway let alone a burning building.

Question: When the boat is sinking and everyone is in the cage, what does Grant say to Ellie on the satellite phone and how does she know what it means and which island to go to out of the five?
Answer: He says "The River, Site B." Obvisouly there is only one main river on Site B (the island). Ellie was smart enough to figure it out.
But how does she get a US navy battle group to turn up? Previously the US embassy wouldn't send anyone for a missing child, but a fleet for an old man off a very garbled phone call? As far as I remember, she had a fairly ordinary job/life in a suburb of the America.
Ellie's husband is Mark Degler, who works at the State Department, and it's with his connections that the rescue gets underway. Early in the movie Ellie told Grant he's bad about asking for help, and he should ask her anything anytime. Near the end, before their phone line was cut off, Ellie had heard the dinosaur roar and screams, so she knew Grant was in trouble.
I think it has something to do with what her husband does for a living.
Answer: Ellie's husband is in treaties and diplomatic relations and would be able to get a rescue group sent.

Question: After Donnie has gone back to the start of the loop, he lets himself be hit by the jet engine, presumably to save Gretchen, Frank and everyone else whose life he screwed up in the alternate future. What I don't understand is, since he knows what's going to happen and can see the path (literally) in front of him, why doesn't he try to change it? If he knew what was coming he could save Gretchen without dying himself.
Chosen answer: There are a couple reasons. One, the whole timeloop where Gretchen dies is the result of him surviving the jet engine incident. If he were to survive it, everything will happen again including Gretchen's death. He gave himself up for her. The other reason could be, that he is happy and not sure if it is a dream, so he just lets it happen (this is said in the commentary).

Question: When Neo and Trinity are about to take off in the Logos to go to the Machine City, and after she goes down to check the problem and Bane attacks her, she goes up the ladder and calls for Neo on the intercom. However, right after she got up the ladder Bane grabs her foot and she proceeds to kick him, knocking back down the ladder. Why didn't she use this chance to lock him in? You can't open it from below. Yes, he could still mess with the ships operations, however they could've gotten a gun, opened it up, and shot him; it'd be as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.
Chosen answer: He would have still been able to open the hatch up. It's a maintenance room, not a "lock-up" room. Someone in this room would still be able to open it from the inside.

Question: At the end, what does the date and the name on the gun mean? Any significance? Other then that they have been hunting before, I wanna know who that person is, the name on the gun.
Chosen answer: The person was a pirate who the same predator fought along time ago. The antique gun is proof that the Predators have been visiting earth for a long time.

Answer: When Legolas is riding the Oliphaunt, it changes direction (turns around) and heads back the way it came. You can tell by the "direction" the the ghost army is moving.
