Jane Doe

Corrected entry: When Jules is carrying a tray full of beers into the skybox at the stadium, it is obvious that the cups are empty and apparently glued down to the tray. As Jules twirls around with the tray, the cups never move, and with certain camera angles, you can see down an inch or so into each cup, and there is nothing in them.

Correction: The cups are not glued onto the tray because she's continuously passing out the cups of beer. If they were glued, she wouldn't be able to hand them out.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: In the scene where Michael goes to the wedding day brunch to confront Kimmy. Julia is talking to both Michael and Kimmy in turns and has one pair of sunglasses hanging on the front of her shirt and another she had on her face then alternately on her head. Why does she have 2 pairs of sunglasses?

Correction: It's obvious to the audience that she has two pairs of sunglasses, and we're supposed to believe that it's because she's not in her right frame of mind. She's there to break up a wedding, and she's insane.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: At the beginning, Julia is a restaurant critic in NYC (at 28 - but that's another issue), but the frantic chef of the restaurant she and her boss dine at is Charlie Trotter, whose restaurant is in Chicago.

Correction: The name of the restaurant is never shown or said. So even though his restaurant is in Chicago, and Jules was dining in NY, he could have just been making a cameo appearance in the film.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: When Jules is typing the letter about Mulroney in Diaz's dad's office, she has the wedding ring with her. She puts it down on the desk on some paper. In the next shot, it is gone.

Correction: After she gets up from falling from the chair, she sits down and picks up the box with the wedding ring with her left hand and sets it aside.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: In the shot where Jules tells Michael the wedding band is stuck on her finger, he sticks her finger in his mouth to pull the ring off. The audience is able to see that the ring is not actually on her finger, but in his hand when he sticks her finger in his mouth.

Correction: In that scene, Michael grabs her hand with both of his hands, and he puts her ring finger in his mouth. The ring is never in his hand. Had it been, then he would have had to put his finger in his mouth. The scene never cuts away from when he picks up her hand to put in his mouth, therefore, there wasn't any time in between shots to put the ring in his mouth.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: When Jules in her hotel room and is awakened by her best friend George they both sit on the bed and talk. Jules took out a cigarette and starts smoking. Then she falls back onto the bed and her hands come up to her chest. there is no cigarette in her hands.

Correction: After she takes a drag from the cigarette with her right hand, she takes the cigarette with her left hand and sets it down before falling back onto the bed.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: In the starting scene, Julia Roberts is in the restaurant tasting food. From one shot, coming up behind her, you can see the rim of Julia's glasses on the side of her face. Then when the shot changes, so we see her from the front, you can clearly see she is not wearing glasses.

Correction: The first shot we see of Julia Roberts if of the front of her face, and she is not wearing glasses. I froze the shot that's referenced, and it only looks like she's wearing glasses. It's the way the curls fall on the side of her face that only make it seem that rims of glasses are visible. She doesn't wear any glasses during the movie.

Jane Doe

Correction: If you mean from when she entered the bar and went to the parking lot, then of course her curls are going to get straggly and worn out. She's been dancing all night with a guy who's been all over her, and she's sweaty.

Thelma and Louise (1991)

Corrected entry: It's not clear how Thelma and Louse meet J.D again to eventually give him a ride. Since afterwards they carry on in the same direction it seems that they met him on their way, but then he must have picked another ride and overtaken them, for which there is no evidence. On the other hand, before and after they picked him up there are two shots where they pass the same stretch of road with narrow telegraph poles and a red sign on the right in opposite directions, which means they did go back, but we never see them turning around. (00:44:55 - 00:47:40)

NancyFelix

Correction: They didn't go back. In a deleted scene on the DVD, it shows that he did get a ride from some bikers that ended passing Thelma and Louise. Even though it's not shown, one would imagine that he had to have gotten a ride from someone else in order to be ahead of Thelma and Louise.

Thelma and Louise (1991)

Corrected entry: The gas tanker explodes into a ball of flame after being struck with a .38 Spl caliber bullet. A bullet of this caliber especially fired from a snub-nosed revolver would most likely not even have penetrated the tank. If by some chance it did, it would result in only a small leak which even if ignited would take considerable time to cause the tank to explode.

Correction: The tanker was being shot by two different type of guns. If one didn't penetrate the tank, the other could have.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: After Laura is presumed dead, her husband receives a call from the woman at the YWCA to offer her condolences. This is what tips him off to the fact that she planned her "death". But how would the woman know Laura's real name, let alone her home phone number? Laura was always careful to travel under an alias after she left her husband. It seems unlikely that she would give her true identity and home phone number to the organization where she covertly took the swimming and self-defense classes that ultimately helped her fake her death.

Correction: When one signs up for a gym membership, one needs a valid ID and a credit card. Laura didn't change her identity until after she faked her death. So the lady from the Y had her current information.

Outlaws - S1-E16

Corrected entry: In Sawyer's flashback sequence he goes to kill a man in Australia who works in a caravan called "Sweet Shrimp". When in fact the shrimp the man used are called Prawns in Australia. Shrimp is an American term for the food. (00:25:55)

Correction: The man that Sawyer killed was an American. He most likely named his business Sweet Shrimp instead of Prawns in keeping with his American roots.

Corrected entry: Polar bears have muscles so dense, that if you were to unload an entire handgun clip into him, you'd only piss it off even further. If he was shot in the head he'd go down but the head has no sign of any blood or injuries of any sort.

Correction: It's not known for a fact that it was a polar bear. Also, the island is full of mysteries. It being gunned down by one bullet could be One of Them.

The Interpreter (2005)

Corrected entry: At the end, Nicole Kidman is talking with Sean Penn. She no longer has any scratches on her face from the bust bombing only a day or two earlier. In the previous scenes, she still has these scratches. There are conversational remarks that everything has happened over the course of nine days when they first met. These scratches would have have healed completely in only 2 or 3 days.

Correction: It's actually about three weeks later, not 2-3 days. We hear Sean Penn mention that his wife has been dead for twenty something days.

The Ring Two (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Max is killed by Samara, Max sets the camera for a time delay photo which we see the camera's red LED light flashing to signify this. Max sits down next to the Samara possessed Adrian and waits for the photo. The photo will prove that Adrian is possessed by Samara as referred to earlier in the movie. We see max dead in his vehicle yet we do not see the photo anywhere throughout the rest of the film. And the point of setting the camera on time delay shot is?

Correction: We don't see the photo because Max has been killed. He has no way to show it. And the point of setting the camera on time delay was to take a picture of Adrian without him knowing. Adrian didn't want his picture taken, so Max tried to be sneaky, but Adrian caught on.

Corrected entry: In the scene when Susan Sarandon is making spaghetti, it starts to boil over before she puts the spaghetti in. Plain water will not boil over.

Correction: It will if it has salt in it. She may have added salt to the water before adding the spaghetti.

Philadelphia (1993)

Corrected entry: When Joe buys diapers in the supermarket and a gay law student makes a pass at him, he gets angry and storms to the door, bypassing the cash counter. It's a bit far fetched that he was so upset that he forgot to pay. (00:58:35)

NancyFelix

Correction: It's not a bit far fetched. Some men are so offended when a man makes a pass at them that they need to get out of that situation ASAP.

Jane Doe

Corrected entry: Lorenzo's accent is not consistent throughout the movie. In the scene where the three musicians come to play for the president, a guard becomes suspicious and asks why the guitar cases are so heavy. Lorenzo responds, in Spanish, that it's because of "amplificacion." Yet he pronounces the second "c" as Spaniards do, with the "th" sound in English. In Mexico and all of Latin America it would be pronounced with an "s" sound. While the story never specifies Lorenzo's country of origin, he uses the Latin American pronunciation everywhere else for the letters "c" and "z."

Correction: Lorenzo in played by Enrique Iglecias, who is a Spaniard. He speeks spanish like a Spaniard, not like an Latin American, and it's possible the character is Spanish originally but has lived in Latin America for a while, altering his pronunciation to a degree.

Cellular (2004)

Corrected entry: When Ryan gives the man at LAX the phone, it is the lawyer's phone (silver face and a slide type). During the end credits, when the man comes out of the bathroom, Ryan looks down at the phone so they can show the credit, and we see the phone is Ryan's phone, not the lawyer's.

moviemogul

Correction: Ryan had dropped the lawyer's cell phone, which broke, when he was running away from one of the bad guys after leaving the bank. Ryan left his phone in the lawyer's car. He went to get his cell phone at the inpound where the car was towed to after parking it at the airport.

Collateral (2004)

Correction: The train that they board is the exact same train that is currently in use. It is the Metro Blue Line train that goes to Long Beach. The newer trains are used in the subway, which is the Metro Red Line.

Jane Doe

But when they are running through the station, they go down to the lower platform for the Red Line, but they are on the Long Beach train that leaves from the upper platform, which is also the starting point for this train, so there wouldn't be any passengers already on it.
