Multiplicity (1996)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Doug brings number 2 home to the guest house, Laura drives up, number 2 pulls up the blinds and they both say hi honey to Laura. Then Doug tackles number 2. Then the guest house is shown from the outside, and the blinds are back down at a slant.

Melissa

Correction: The blinds stay in the up position. Even later when there's a second shot of the outside. There are 4 windows and it is the 3rd window from the right whose blinds are down at a slant. However it was the 2nd window from the right whose blinds were raised, and they stay raised. The blinds on the other 2 windows also are in the same position when seen from outside.

Leaving Las Vegas (1995)

Corrected entry: In the scene when we first see Sera in the elevator, her hair is wavy and parted to the right, but when she goes into the hotel room, her hair is more curly and parted to the left.

Melissa

Correction: The elevator she is in has a mirror, and she was primping her hair using that on the way up, hence the slightly different style and reverse image.

Adaptation (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene just after the courthouse, Charlie looks at a map and begins to type. He types 'We begin on State ROAD 29' but the voice over says 'We begin on State ROUTE 29'.

Melissa

Correction: He could have changed it in a later draft, or it could have been changed by someone else. The screenwriter is nowhere near the last person to see the script before it goes into production.

Friends (1994)

Correction: In other episodes, when the shower curtain is opened, you can see the window is on the back wall on the far side of the tub (which is not uncommon).

Corrected entry: During the whole movie, nobody has a Minnesota accent, especially Jjaks and Sam, who grew up there.

Melissa

Correction: Not all Minnesotan movies need to have that nasaly "Midwestern" accent found in movies like Fargo and Drop Dead Gorgeous. And Minnesotans don't really have an accent at all. I should know, I live there. There was really no reason to make it a point in this movie.

Feeling the Heat - S4-E4

Corrected entry: The baby's car seat goes from front facing when they find him to rear facing and still strapped in when they go to investigate the car. Also, a baby that young would be in a rear facing car seat anyway.

Melissa

Correction: The seat is rear-facing in all shots. Due to the angle in some shots, it looks forward-facing, but it's not.

Corrected entry: When John Cusack and Dan Aykroyd are sitting in the coffee shop, John Cusack knocks a plate out of the waitress' hand onto the floor and the waitress bends down to pick it up. John Cusack runs for the door, the camera pans back, and there is no waitress and no mess on the floor.

Melissa

Correction: The waitress is shown ducking and running once Martin stands up. The mess on the floor is blocked by items on another table in the foreground.

Signs (2002)

Corrected entry: In the scene when the whole family is in the closet watching the invasion on TV, the TV is shown, and there are no reflections of the family, even though they are sitting and standing right in front of it. (01:07:45)

Melissa

Correction: You are being shown the actual footage, not seeing it from the perspective of being in the room, which would have shown their reflections on the TV.

furious1116

Corrected entry: In the scene when Sam needs to use the phone booth and the old man won't let him, the payphone says USWest, which is not a phone company used in Minnesota. (01:01:15)

Melissa

Correction: Not today, it isn't, but in 1996 it was. US West later became QWest, in 2001 or 2002.

Friends (1994)

Correction: Joey's video camera is quite a large one - it could easily take a full-size VHS tape.
