Rooster of Doom

Corrected entry: Hyde swims underwater and pulls a lever in the engine room that opens the drain. It looks tough for him to move the lever, he puts all his strength into it and it takes him several seconds. It's a pretty meaty lever. But the sub's designed to be operated by normal human beings - how would a regular person ever be able to operate that lever?

Correction: The most obvious assumption is that the linkage or drain parts have been damaged by the explosions, rendering them nearly immovable.

Spring Break - S1-E21

Corrected entry: The mould taken off of the girl's bitten leg was indented, but on the skin a bite would be indented, so the mould should be reversed.

Correction: The presumption must be that they moulded and cast it again, getting back to the original shape. This would be useful for when they came across the original teeth later, so they could settle them into the bite shape for comparison.

Hollow Man (2000)

Corrected entry: Why is it that when Elizabeth Shue activates her little homemade electromagnet in the freezer, all the little nuts and bolts instantly stick to it, yet she doesn't seem to have any trouble picking it up off of the ALL METAL cabinet when the magnet is still turned on?

Correction: Because the cabinet, like most lab furniture, is made of stainless steel, which is non-magnetic.

Super Troopers (2001)

Corrected entry: When Ursala and Foster are in the backseat of the police car Ursala states thats someone had to open the door for them to get out, if so then how did Ramathorn's kid get out of the backseat when they pulled over the Russians?

Correction: Ursula actually states that someone has to open the doors from the outside on THEIR cruisers (those of the local cops, not the State Troopers). Apparently, the Troopers' doors open from within, otherwise Foster would have been more careful. Also, I'm moderately certain the people they pulled over were German.

Cast Away (2000)

Corrected entry: In the scenes 4 years after Chuck has been on the island, we see he has grown his hair out and his beard is very long. What is out of place is his mustache is remarkably well-groomed. Whiskers don't grow evenly, and unless he had some scissors or something else to trim with, it's very unlikely that his mustache would be so evenly distributed around his mouth.

Correction: Actually, anyone with a mustache can tell you that it's no great feat to keep those reasonably well trimmed just by biting the ends off - and you would, unless you like them trailing in your mouth all the time.

Rooster of Doom

Corrected entry: Although the action takes place in London, the payment for the "goods" being sold on the black market is quoted in dollars.

Correction: The US dollar is frequently used as an international currency for all manner of illegal activities (there's a great deal of it available, and it's widely accepted). This makes more sense than the assumption that the English film's English writer doesn't know what the local currency is.

The Terminator (1984)

Corrected entry: Sarah unnecessarily puts change into a payphone before dialling 911, typically a free call.

Correction: It's not unreasonable to believe that the stressed-out Sarah might have forgotten you don't need to insert change for this call. More a character mistake than a movie mistake.

Rooster of Doom

Corrected entry: In the scene where Fezzik is hurling a rock at Wesley, watch carefully and you'll see the rock explode before it hits anything.

Correction: Untrue. It hits the boulder directly beyond him. It's just somewhat tough to make out the depth of field because it's viewed almost straight on. Once the debris has cleared you can see the mark the smaller rock made on the boulder.

Rooster of Doom

Corrected entry: Look closely at Buttercup's wedding dress at the actual "wedding". It's ice blue with a white petticoat or whatever under it. It stays the same until where she jumps out the window in the end and lands neatly in Fezzik's arms. Watch her falling - her dress changes to purest white to contrast the night sky better.

Correction: Tough to call this one - the dress isn't really blue, at best it's a silvery-white with a blue cast to it. It's just that against the dark black background, it appears whiter. You've sort of got the cart before the horse.

Dogma (1999)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Bartleby and Loki are at Mooby H.Q then in all the shots Ben Affleck's and Matt Damon's oscars can be seen on either side of the cabinet in the background. In the shot where Loki is offering the woman chewing gum and then leaves the room the oscar from one side is no longer there.

Correction: Since the trophy cup on the upper shelf of that same set is displaced several inches to the left, and the shelf where the Oscar was has a huge blood splatter across it, it seems natural to believe the award was knocked down/aside during the fracas.

Rooster of Doom

Correction: There's no fifth guy. I thought this was right at first, but in frame-by-frame on DVD what you see is that Fezzik gets off first and steadies the boat, then Buttercup, then Vizzini, then Inigo who is holding something man-sized out at arm's length, which appears like another person. It's actually the harness they then strap Fezzik into, for the rest of them to ride.
