Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Rey is shown for the first time while undergoing training in the forest she falls to the ground face-down. When she gets up her clothes are soiled with dirt as expected, but in all shots after that, in the same forest sequence, her clothes are perfectly clean again.

Continuity mistake: As already noted in another mistake, when Han is about to be frozen in carbonite, his jacket appears and disappears between shots. This jacket can also be seen when Lando says, "You're being put into carbon freeze." This shot was not fixed in the DVD. (01:35:05)

Suggested correction: That is a shadow, giving the illusion it's a jacket.

That is incorrect. You can see the contrast between the jacket and the shirt, with the white collar of his shirt sticking out of the brown jacket.

The shadow isn't touching all of the shoulders, which gives the illusion that there is a jacket on him, but there's not.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back mistake picture

Continuity mistake: After Han is frozen in carbonite, the outline of his shirt indicates that he is wearing a different shirt from when he was frozen. It isn't the shirt he's wearing after being unfrozen in "Return of the Jedi", it looks more like the shirt he was wearing in "Star Wars". (01:36:00 - 01:37:10)

Tougher Than the Rest - S6-E12

Visible crew/equipment: When Sir Henry searches for his mother and The Evil Queen along the water's edge, in the shot where he says, "They crossed the river", as he turns his horse around, a horse wrangler's hand can be seen holding the horse's bridle in the lower half of the screen, guiding the horse to turn around. Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi mistake picture

Revealing mistake: Vader tosses the Emperor and then collapses on some barrels next to the railing. Look at Vader's arm - the one with the severed hand. His arm is bent at the forearm in a way that arms just don't bend. This is because David Prowse's hand was inside an "elongated" arm to simulate it being chopped off. He couldn't keep his wrist straight, giving the appearance of a bent forearm. (01:57:00)

Continuity mistake: When Luke is riding the speeder bike against the trooper, the black glove on his right hand jumps to his left and then back again. (01:01:15)

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi mistake picture

Revealing mistake: In the wide-shot where Luke leaps from the prisoner skiff over to another skiff, you can see the stick used during the filming, which is much shorter than the regular one. The blade is not even glowing. (It is not just simply the hilt of the sabre, it's too long for that.). (00:32:15)

Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Luke and the others are trapped in the net, the dead animal changes appearance (both injuries and actual appearance) and position several times. For example, the animal seen when they are in the net has a different mouth and a bigger area of white fur from the one seen a few shots earlier. (01:08:35)

Revealing mistake: When Jabba's sail barge begins to explode, you can see that one of the floating skiffs is standing on stilts. (00:36:30)

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back mistake picture

Revealing mistake: After the headless AT-AT begins to fall over, watch its back leg on the right side of the screen. You can see a broomstick being pushed up from under the set. It raises that foot up in order to ensure that the AT-AT falls to the left side of the screen. (00:33:00)

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith mistake picture

Revealing mistake: When Anakin and Obi-Wan are fighting on top of the table, after Anakin kicks Obi-Wan, we see a wide shot of Obi-Wan hitting the table, followed by a close-up of Anakin charging at him. You can see that the one who comes toward him is not Hayden Christensen, but his stunt double. (01:51:15)

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back mistake picture

Continuity mistake: In the last part of the lightsaber duel, and in the following scenes, the color and seriousness of the wounds and bruises on Luke's face keep changing: For example, in the iconic segment where Luke reacts in shock and horror at Vader revealing himself to be his father, the injuries look quite nasty, but when he comes to a stop inside the tunnel after falling from the catwalk, they look far less severe. (01:49:30)

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back mistake picture

Revealing mistake: Vader cuts off Luke's hand at the wrist. When Luke is holding on to the antennae-like assembly underneath Cloud City, in one shot, Mark Hamill bends his wrist, revealing the gimmick. (01:52:55)

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Luke climbs into his snowspeeder, his hair is shorter than when he said goodbye to Han and Chewbacca while on his way to the speeder. When he takes off his pilot helmet on Dagobah, his hair is back to normal. (00:22:20 - 00:25:40)

Suggested correction: It's Luke, not a crew member.

Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back mistake picture

Continuity mistake: Widescreen version: Darth Vader and Admiral Piett are talking on board the Star Destroyer at the end of the movie. In the first shot, a man is standing behind Piett. In the next shot of Vader and Piett, a different man is standing behind Piett. Then, in the third shot of Vader and Piett, the first man is back. The design of the wall and window also differs.
