Continuity mistake: The fragments from the truck's taillights that Cassie smashed with a tire iron were obviously "neatly rearranged" (and looked resized to be more uniform) before showing them after the man drove away. Cassie hit the outer sides of the rear taillights and fragments of various sizes scattered, so all would not settle close together along the bumper. One large fragment from the passenger side flew past Cassie behind the truck and landed about three or four feet away but was not there afterwards.

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, there are spectators and the camera zooms in on a man and woman with a Rottweiler standing next to the woman. There is a glimpse of two people past the dog. The camera briefly shifts to show a woman (Sonny) walking toward the front door, then returns to the spectators. Continuity mistake: During the cafeteria scene, Carl initially has his left arm behind Fern's, resting on the top of her chair. The wide camera view MIGHT be trying to show that time has passed and lunch is almost over. However, Angela is still talking about her tattoo, indicating that there has not been a gap in time. Continuity mistake: There are some continuity problems during the cafeteria scene where Fern is being introduced to her co-workers. Fern is holding a banana, peeled almost to the bottom, and has several slices of banana on her peanut butter sandwich. There is another banana peel on her paper lunch bag. Fern is shown taking a bite of her sandwich. A little later, Fern is holding a partially peeled banana but no slices can be seen on her sandwich. Only one was visible on the road and it was to the side of the rear bumper, not on the road where it fell/ landed. The pickup truck is NOT there. When the Virtuoso gets out of his car, it is further back (away from the brown car's bumper) and the truck IS there. (00:29:56)

Continuity mistake: The "White Rivers" note that the Mentor gave the Virtuoso at his home is different when the Virtuoso goes home and is placing it in the fireplace. "White Rivers" is now written in the upper portion of the folded paper. Instead of "White Rivers" being written on the same line, the words are written diagonally with "Rivers" indented below "White." Unlike the original note, "WHITE RIVERS" is in all capital letters. Continuity mistake: At the cemetery, the Virtuoso was facing a headstone (grave marker) and the screen. There was an American flag to his right. The Mentor approached from behind him. When the Virtuoso stood up and turned to face the Mentor, the flag was now on the other side of the headstone. Also, no printing/etching could be seen on either side of the headstone. Continuity mistake: When the sheriff drives up to her trailer, a window to the left of the door is partway open. Approaching the front door, the window to the right looks closed. Liv's five friends arrive after the sheriff handcuffed Liv to the pipe and leaves. The window to the left is now much closer to the front door and is closed. The vertical windows to the right of the door are closed, but halfway open when there's a side view of the trailer. (00:06:30 - 00:14:26)

Continuity mistake: When the sheriff drives up to her trailer, the front door knob is located on the right side and there is no handrail. There is a vertical window in the door, separated into four parts. There is no blue strip of paint to the left of the door. As the sheriff approaches the trailer with Liv, the door knob is now on the left side, there is a blue strip along the left side of the door from the knob upwards, and the door's window looks different.
