Walkabout (1971)

Visible crew/equipment: Towards the end of the film, when the girl is pouring water over her brother, the overhead mic is in shot at the top of the screen.

Suggested correction: At no point is a microphone visible in that scene. At least, not when properly cropped for widescreen.

It's when the boy says, "It's lovely and warm, he didn't say goodbye to us," while his sister pours the first container of water over him. My copy was originally videoed from the TV in the 1980s, so the mic might have been "airbrushed" out in later copies.

More likely, your copy was broadcast full frame. The image was meant to be cropped at the top and bottom when shown in theatres.

Quadrophenia (1979)

Corrected entry: The radio commentator says the Aden war will end next year. The war ended in 1963, so the film is set in 1962. As already mentioned, vehicles later than '62 are too numerous to list, not to mention that most scooters are Series 3's, which were still another year away.

Correction: Quadrophenia is set in 1964, not 1962.

Correction: The Aden Emergency began in 1963. It didn't end until 1967.

Grease (1978)

Corrected entry: In the pep rally scene where everyone is rushing up to see what Coach Calhoun has to say, you can see a brown-headed girl rush forward, and then you can see a hand reach out and pinch her bottom.

Correction: This is an illusion - the boy is next to the girl, he raises his right hand but it is no where near the girl's bottom, the angle makes it look like he does touch her, also the girl does not react.
