Sin City (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene after Marv and his parole officer escape the cell, the huge slashes across his face change sides. In the long shots they are going from left to right, but close up the are going right to left.

mandy gasson

Correction: I thought so too, but when I looked a little closer I could see that Marv has slashes going in both directions on his face, in a cross-pattern. The lighting and camera angles sometimes make it seem like the slashes only go in one direction, but they are all there.

Twotall

Corrected entry: In the scene in the trailer with Elle, Budd and then The Bride, Elle has a shiny eye patch on which reflects the lighting boxes throughout the scene.

Correction: Or maybe just windows, which there are plenty of in Budd's trailer.

S.W.A.T. (2003)

Corrected entry: At the end of the birthday party scene when Sanchez and Street are leaving, Sanchez walks towards the bottom of the scene and straight into one of the little girls' Hula hoops.

mandy gasson

Correction: Yes she walks into the hula hoop, but I fail to see how that is a movie mistake. She was in a hurry to respond to a S.W.A.T call so she took the shortest route to the gate/car.

EMTurbo

Corrected entry: When Bob is at the photo shoot, the photographer takes a lot of photos but the flash does not always fire. In a studio, the flash would be linked to the camera so that every time the shutter was fired, the flash would also fire.

mandy gasson

Correction: Even if a flash is linked with the camera, if it isn't loaded fully, the flash wouldn't fire, especially when taking a few shots in a row. A professional photographer would have a much better flash with less time for reloading.

Love Actually (2003)

Corrected entry: When Sam is watching the TV screen showing the awful Christmas song video, there is a reflection of him and another boy in the TV screen. However, when it cuts to show his face there is no one else around him.

mandy gasson

Correction: There are two reflections, but they are both of Sam; one in the TV screen itself, and another, slightly offset, in the shop window (which is between Sam and the TV).

Jez

Corrected entry: In the scene where Uma Thurman is talking to the Spanish man, he takes off his glasses and places them, closed, on top of the book. At the end of the scene they cut to a wide shot of him and the glasses are still on the book but they are now open.

mandy gasson

Correction: I thought so too, but soon after he places them down, he seems to fiddle about with them. If nothing else enough time passes for him to play with them a bit off-screen.
