Movie Medic

Factual error: In the police shoot out scene, you can see that the plate carriers the actors are wearing are really empty. Brolin sticks his hand into Forsing's vest after he was shot, the vest easily folds away. You can also see in various shots how theirs vest bend with their bodies, in a way they wouldn't if they had plating in as they should to protect from bullets.

Sicario (2015)

Factual error: During the briefing before El Paso a group of men were introduced as "Delta." There were not "Delta" due to a couple of items: 1) They were using single point slings, that's a S.E.A.L. thing. Delta prefer to use two point slings. 2) Their sidearms were SIG P226, another S.E.A.L. thing. 3) Their dropleg holsters were way lower than Delta prefers theirs.

Jack Reacher (2012)

Factual error: At the shooting range when Reacher hangs his target, you can see it's either AS500 or something softer because of the damage. When Reacher fires his shots go clean through the target without any spalling damage done to the paper.

Gemini Man (2019)

Character mistake: At the start Smith takes a Krestal ballistic computer and barely holds it out to get wind speed. The proper technique is to hold it at arm's length into the wind.

Suggested correction: While true it's not a mistake, as the movie deliberately focuses on Spruance because of his greater role in the actual battle. Spruance was on scene approximately 36 hours before Fletcher. He had two carriers to Fletcher's one. After Yorktown was torpedoed, Fletcher evacuated to a nearby cruiser. When Spruance asked if Fletcher had additional orders, Fletcher replied "will conform to your movements", effectively turning command over to Spruance.

They didn't 'focus' on Spruance. They deleted Fletcher.

Semantics. If Fletcher is deleted, the only USN Task Force Commander left for the movie to focus on is Spruance.

Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Hobbs & Shaw mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Hobbs and Shaw are in the glass room meeting, Hobbs throws a chair that's next to the table at the glass towards the men on the other side. That chair lands on the floor near the glass, but when the camera pans after that, it shows Hobbs' hand on the backside of that same chair, and the chair is still at the table. (00:20:10)

Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Factual error: In the helicopter scene, the main villain yells at the pilot to climb. He then goes up and throws the pilot out and takes over. It is a common misconception that helicopter pilots sit in the same seat as airline pilots (left seat). Helicopter pilots sit in the right seat. He just threw out someone that wasn't the pilot.
