Suggested correction: The bullet just grazed Bond's leg; he went into the men's room to wrap it up to stop the bleeding.

Octopussy (1983)

Continuity mistake: When Bond's Mercedes is on the railroad tracks, it is hit head on by an oncoming train. As it is shown sailing in the air backwards, it is very clear that the drive-train has been removed. When the car is shown again, it is now sailing nose first as it hits the water.

Suggested correction: The drive-train hasn't been removed, it's just damage to the car from being hit by the larger and more powerful train. Surely a head-on crash would with a train wouldn't just leave a few scratches on the front of the car.

Look at pictures of cars hit at high speeds; the drivetrain does not just fall out, everything forward would have compacted towards the firewall of the car, and the rear differential is attached in many places on the chassis and certainly wouldn't have just disappeared.

Corrected entry: When the police car loses its rear end there is a Pinto station wagon parked behind it. Pinto wasn't released until 1971.

Correction: There is no Ford Pinto wagon anywhere in this scene; there is, however a first generation Ford Falcon wagon parked behind the Police car, which was made from 1960 to 1963, and fits right in with the time period of the movie.

Goldfinger (1964)

Continuity mistake: When Oddjob drives Mr. Solo to the airport, he drives him in a black car. After he shoots him and takes him to the scrap yard, then he has the car crushed in the compactor. When it comes out, it's the compacted remains of a car painted a lighter shade of blue.

Live and Let Die (1973)

Corrected entry: The majority of the cars in this film are 1973 Chevrolet's.This is very evident when Bond is being driven to see Felix; nearly every car in the action shots on the highway is a full size Chevy. With a few exceptions, such as the Caddy's and the Pimpmobile in the beginning of the film, its seems most people bought a 1973 Chevrolet. Most of the destroyed police force in the Louisiana were Impalas, and the car chasing Bond when he is driving the bus is a 73 Nova sedan. In the airport scene there is one of each 1973 model - Nova, Malibu, Impala and a pickup. Chevrolet too-obviously paid for the product-placement advertising.

Correction: The post says the majority of the cars are 1973 Chevrolets; it doesn't say all of them are. The scene where Whispers kills Bonds driver shows the majority of the cars around him are 1973 full size Chevrolets, the already mentioned airport scene, the Novas chasing the bus, the CIA agents car, Most of the police cars until the final scene with the old "door falling off car " bit, are 1973 models, Adams black Chevrolet is an exception, being a 1972.

Correction: This is incorrect. Although a vast majority of the cars appearing in the film are 1973 Chevrolets, let's not forget the 1971 Checker Marathon Taxicab in New York (ironically enough, surrounded by 1973 Chevrolet taxis.), Kananga's diplomatic car (a 1971 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special) in New York, the aforementioned Pimpmobile (in actuality a fiberglass shell of a Cadillac El Dorado placed on a Chevrolet Corvette chassis.the conversion, known as a "Corvorado", was done by a man named Les Dunham, who did six more of the vehicles for other films), the 1963 Chevrolet Impala that Bond and Rosie Carver drive to the spot where the secret agent was killed, the 1961 Ford Econoline van that Bond's out-of-control '73 Chevy crashes into, the 1969 and 1972 Ford Galaxies used as New Orleans police cars, and the 1968 BMC Mini Moke that Bond and Rosie drive around in all played relatively significant roles. I'm leaving out the 1927 Mack AB Oyster Truck since it was obviously placed there for comedic value and little else as well as the AEC Regent III double-decker bus, of which GM had no comparable product.

Logan's Run (1976)

Corrected entry: In the shiny robot's ice lair, Jenny Agutter and Michael York strip off their wet clothes and you can see that Jenny Agutter wasn't wearing any underwear, but when they put their clothes back on and start running away from the robot, Jenny slips and falls over and you can see that she is wearing underwear. (01:09:55)

Correction: Incorrect. In the scene where they strip off their wet clothes, if you look closely, you can see that Agutter is wearing dark green panties, though obviously, no bra. This is consistent later.

When Logan and Jessica arrive at Box's lair, Jessica has sheer green stockings, which she takes off with her dress. She is nude at that point; you can see her rear end as she puts on the furs. When she puts the green dress back on, she does not put on her stockings. Later shots of her falling and ducking when she is in the woods show her wearing white underwear under her dress.
