Reba (2001)

Your Place or Mine? - S2-E24

Corrected entry: In the previous episode Location, Location, Location Kyra says that she wants to move in with Brock and Barbra Jean after he tells her he will try and make it up to her for her losing her trip. But in this episode, the rehash makes it appear that she asks to move in, by adding the line "Dad, there's something I have to tell you." This was never in the other episode at all, and does not make sense considering that Brock offered to make it up to her.

luke f

Correction: She does ask to move in. This entry makes no sense.

I think you missed the point of the mistake. The beginning dialog of this episode is suppose to be the ending dialog of the previous episode. But in this episode she says "Dad, there's something I have to tell you" instead of "I already thought of a way" (in response to her dad saying he'll find a way to make it up to her).

The Middle (2009)

Leap Year - S3-E18

Corrected entry: Sue states the she created the wrestlerettes when she entered middle school. But at the beginning of the series she mentions trying out for wrestlerettes and even goes to a movie with one. She states it every clearly, thus she did not create them - at the most she stole the idea.

luke f

Correction: Sue mentions creating the wrestlerettes in high school, which didn't have them, not middle school where they existed and she tried out for them.

Corrected entry: When Wallace walks out of the room when they are painting it and bumps into Feathers, Feathers appears out of nowhere.

luke f

Correction: Already submitted and corrected - Feathers McGraw is a silent, sinister and notorious criminal mastermind of many faces who is capable of disguising himself as a chicken with just a rubber glove. Clearly he is capable of sneaking up on Wallace like that. The fact that he just "appears" was done deliberately.

Seconded. The sudden appearance is part of the gag.

Black Books (2000)

Fever - S2-E2

Corrected entry: Manny gets crazy when the temperature hits 88, but he never goes crazy even when wearing the heavy jacket and being near the oven, which coupled with the high temperature outside would have made him hit 88 and go crazy much earlier than when the outside temperature hits 88.

luke f

Correction: That's a joke. It's exaggerated for humour and we are supposed to assume that Manny realises what Bernard has done, just in time. Remember that Black Books is a strange comedy not a medical drama.

Correction: When bringing her to lunch with the other guys, Sheldon specifically says "You may remember Dr. Nowitski" and they reply. They obviously do remember meeting her.

LorgSkyegon

Correction: As the other correction states he introduces her by saying you may remember. Sheldon is also very literal and skeptical of Penny's memory, having had to explain most things for a decade.

Hot in Cleveland (2010)

Correction: AMC taped in Manhattan since its inception until late 2009, then the AMC production was moved to LA. This Hot in Cleveland episode, which aired February 2011, is correct.

Three's Company (1977)

Stanley's Hotline - S3-E15

Corrected entry: Mr Roper can hear the roommates' bathroom through the sink and the pipes, indicating that they are right on top of each other. However based on how the apartments are set out in the building and the locations of each bathroom in their respective apartments, it would be impossible for him to hear the bathroom so, if at all.

luke f

Correction: If you're familiar with the show, the Ropers' front door and the roommates' front door upstairs are both on same side of the building separated by one flight of stairs. The inside of each apartment we see (as viewers) are from opposite sides. So when we see the Ropers' bathroom all the way right, we also see the roommates' bathroom all the way left. So in theory more or less, they ARE approximately on top of each other.

The Thing That Wouldn't Die (2) - S6-E20

Corrected entry: At the end of the show the aliens leave and Dick chops Mary's neck to supposedly help her forget he ever existed. However, what about all the others? It makes no sense to make Mary forget them when everyone else would still remember them. How could she explain not knowing Dick when she would invariably have his stuff around or hear others talking about them?

luke f

Correction: Dick only erased Mary's memory because she was torn between her love for him and her desire to stay on Earth. It had nothing to do with making sure no one remembered them, just to hopefully help Mary move on with her life.

Bishop73

Corrected entry: The dog falls from the Eiffel tower into water. There is no water around the Eiffel tower.

luke f

Correction: From the angle of the shot it is hard to tell which side the dog fell off. There is a river, the Seine, directly to the northwest of the tower. It can be seen in the shot where the hat is thrown. It is possible the dog landed in the river.

manthabeat

Correction: The Seine River is over 500 feet away from the base of the tower, so it's unlikely the dog fell there. However, there are two ponds on the sides of the tower, in the park area.

Bishop73

Correction: Sheldon's 'Vulcan hearing' is an important plot device, used in a number of episodes for comic effect. This is one of them. In another episode, Leonard says he can hear her toilet flush, so the apartments clearly aren't very soundproof.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the earlier episodes, the sidewalk does not extend down the rest of the street outside the Buckets' house. If shown it ends after the neighbors driveway and their lawn extends to the road. However in later episodes when the sidewalk is shown, it extends all the way down the road and does not end until the next street.

luke f

Correction: This is not a mistake. The sidewalk has always been there. Its just looks like that due to the driveways being connected.

Just Your Average Dick (1) - S3-E22

Corrected entry: In this episode the aliens are talking about what the average American does. One thing mentioned is divorce. One out of every 4 Americans is divorced, and Harry wants to be the one. However in an earlier episode Dick finds out he has a wife and it is said that he will divorce her. Thus they already have a divorcee...Dick. Since he was already divorced, Dick should have remembered.

luke f

Correction: Even if Dick were to mention that he was a divorcee, Harry volunteers for it before he has the chance to do so. Not only that, but moments later Dick says the family needs to focus on things that the majority of Americans do, and not the minority. Since 1 out of 4 is a minority, the idea is discarded altogether.
