Trivia: The four actors playing the Turtles also had cameo appearances in the movie without their costumes: Tilden (Donatello) was the Foot messenger that says "We've been looking for you, Miss O'Neil". Pais (Raphael) is the passenger in the taxi cab that says "What the heck was that?" Sisti (Michelangelo) is the pizza delivery man that can't find the Turtle's address. Foreman (Leonardo) plays a gang member in the warehouse when Casey Jones defeats Tatsu.

Trivia: Skeet Ulrich, from the original Scream movie, got one of his very first on-screen roles with this movie. He can be seen playing an uncredited thug to the left of the kid who tells the cops to check out the warehouse.

Blood Diamond (2006)

Factual error: The plane at the beginning of the film, a Gippsland GA8 Airvan, only existed as a prototype during the late 1990s when the film is supposed to take place. They were not produced until late 2000.

Blood Diamond (2006)

Factual error: Throughout the entire movie, the vehicles are driven on the left side of the road. Sierra Leone drives on the right. This is likely because the filming locations of South Africa and Mozambique drive on the left.

Blood Diamond (2006)

Factual error: In the scene in Kono, one of the child soldiers is seen with a Game Boy Advance SP, which was released in 2003, but the movie takes place in the 90's.

Blood Diamond (2006)

Factual error: When Solomon goes fishing in the morning, the sun is shown to have risen over the sea. In reality, the sun would rise over land, as Sierra Leone is on the West Coast, revealing the shot of the sunrise was taken elsewhere.

Trivia: The title has no question mark at the end, because according to director Robert Zemeckis, there's an old superstition that films with a question mark in the title do badly at the box office.

Trivia: Ever wonder what all that technical jargon that Judge Doom rattles off about his "Dip" was all about? The Dip, which he tells Eddie is a mixture he has made out of acetone, benzene, and turpentine, is the only way to kill a toon. Why? Because these are essentially the three main ingredients in "Paint Thinner" - which he uses to literally remove a toon's paint, thereby removing their existence. (00:33:20)

Trivia: Most of the boxes in the warehouse hideout have the "Mirage" logo on them, a nod to Mirage Comics, the publisher of the original TMNT comic book.

Curious George (2006)

Continuity mistake: When Ted is using the kite to steer the balloons, he is holding the string in his hand. When George's balloons pop, Ted catches George, and both of Ted's hands are seen to remain empty for at least 15 seconds, no kite or string is seen at all. Then it immediately cuts to a wide shot after George climbs onto Ted's back, and Ted is suddenly holding the kite string, and we see him continue to use the kite to steer the balloons. Ted did not have time to tie the kite string anywhere else, as he had it in his hand as he reached for George.

Sneakers (1992)

Trivia: Mother is also seen wearing a T-Shirt with the band "The Tragically Hip" on it. This is Dan Aykroyd's favorite band, and also the band he chose to play on the 1975 SNL show that he hosted.

Sneakers (1992)

Trivia: The jacket that Robert Redford wears for most of the film is the exact same jacket he wears in "The Natural" - he got to keep it after filming had finished, and wore it for this film as well.

Road Trip (2000)

Trivia: When we first see Andy Dick, who plays the guy at the front desk of the motel, he is reading/looking at a Celebrity Skin magazine, with Drew Barrymore on the cover. This magazine was chosen by Todd Phillips as an inside joke, because at the time this movie was filmed, Drew Barrymore was engaged to Tom Green, who plays Barry.

Trivia: Fred Ward plays Kyle's dad, and is only ever referred to as "Earl" - a deliberate inside joke by the writers, to pay tribute to Ward's character Earl in Tremors and Tremors 2, two movies that the writers were big fans of.

Cars (2006)

Trivia: According to Richard Petty, The King's crash at the end of the final race is a frame-by-frame recreation of Petty's 1988 Winston Cup accident at the Daytona 500. The only difference is that the real crash was not caused intentionally, but rather by accident.

Wayne's World (1992)

Trivia: Mike Myers actually played the first few notes of "Stairway to Heaven" in the theatrical release. The director's later found out that playing even a few notes of the song would require special permission from the band, which they did not have. As such, all VHS and DVD copies have been dubbed over with the ending riff to "We Will Rock You" by Queen. They sound similar, and the producers hoped viewers wouldn't know the difference.

General questions

When I was a kid, I remember seeing a movie in the early 80's, and all I can remember is at the end, a ghost train comes crashing through the house in the living room. Prior to this, you can see the light approaching, and I think there was a kid that yelled that the train was coming towards the house. Anyone know what film this was?

Jazetopher

Chosen answer: It wasn't a movie. It was the first episode of "Amazing Stories," an anthology program produced by Steven Spielberg. IMDB has a description here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0511096/.

The Incredibles (2004)

Trivia: The kid on the tricycle is an inside joke representing the real life personality of John Lasseter, the chief creative officer at both Pixar and Walt Disney Feature Animation. During production of his films, he is usually waiting for something amazing to happen in regards to the animation or special effects, and later (during production) has been heard several times to remark of such amazing results as "totally wicked".
