Trivia: Despite playing the ruler of an underwater kingdom, Tenoch Huerta didn't actually know how to swim before taking the role.

Trivia: The contract in the film stating no film can be made of The Mousetrap until 6 months after the theatrical run ends is actually true in real life as well, albeit only referring to English language versions. To date there have been Bengali and Russian films made of the play. The Mousetrap has been running near-continuously since it began, except for a break during the pandemic of just over a year.

Trivia: The storyboards shown for the proposed "action" finale of the Mousetrap film mirror the actual finale of this film.

Trivia: Leo Köpernick's name was deliberately chosen to reference two British slang terms relating to police/crime: "Copper", meaning a police officer, and "nick", meaning to arrest someone.

Trivia: This film was originally in development in 2016 with Hugh Grant and Keira Knightley starring, but put on hold after Disney bought 20th Century Fox.

Trivia: Sheila says of the director "He was a real hound, Inspector". The Inspector's name is Stoppard, named for writer Tom Stoppard, who wrote "The Real Inspector Hound".

Trivia: The hotel concierge is from Belgium but mistakenly thought to be from France, just like Poirot, another Agatha Christie creation.

Whose Show is This? - S1-E9

Trivia: The receptionist who gets She-Hulk to sign an NDA is played by Matt Wilkie, who at the time was actually a receptionist at Marvel's studios. He was promoted before the episode aired, and showrunner Jessica Gao almost wished he hadn't been, saying "it ruins my dream, which was that somebody would watch the show and then have a meeting at Marvel Studios and then go to that actual lobby, see Matt Wilkie and sign the NDA".

Boston Legal (2004)

Trivia: Alan tells Denny that he'll outlive them all, and will still be out there "doing Priceline commercials". William Shatner did commercials for Priceline for many years.

A Normal Amount of Rage - S1-E1

Question: Jen has concerns about Steve Rogers dying a virgin, and Bruce eventually caves in the credits sequence and says he lost his virginity in 1943 on the USO tour. But why doesn't he tell Jen that Steve had many happy years with Peggy Carter, courtesy of their timeline-jumping? Presumably that involved sex too. Does Bruce not know, or is that meant to be kept secret?

Answer: He probably knew and kept Steve's secret.

Rob245

Answer: 1. David probably lied to get Jen off his back. 2. She wanted to know if Steve ever had sex, not about his true love. 3. If he told her about Steve's time travel, it would open a can of worms. She would probably be curious and seek him out, the government might want him back for disobeying orders and not resuming his Captain America duties. 4. The government would want the secrets of time travel to change history or to go back and forced him to resume his Captain America duties to prevent the infiltration of Hydra into S.H.I.E.L.D.

Answer: It's not his story to tell.

Race Ipsa - S2-E23

Revealing mistake: When Denise is showing Brad how to kiss, the first kiss is a typical "stage kiss" with their lips pretty clamped shut, but she then details what he's doing wrong with his tongue, which clearly wasn't at all involved with the sort of kiss they just shared.

The Gray Man (2022)

Continuity mistake: As the "lone wolf" escapes on the bike, there's a fancy swooping camera shot which tracks him, cutting to a shot from the front just as he scythes between two dark cars and past a police car. In that quick shot a woman suddenly appears cowering by the police car who wasn't there before.

Trivia: The shot depicting the body of an enormous god Thor and Korg find in a snowy landscape is taken directly from the comics.

Factual error: The F14 could never have got airborne with such a short clear run unassisted. It needs about 800m, about half a mile.

Trivia: The cast got to choose their own callsigns. Miles Teller chose Rooster as it was another bird, like his character's father Goose.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: According to several sites, all the call signs were scripted. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2022/05/top-gun-maverick-call-sign-rooster-phoenix-payback. They were given the option to change them if they had wanted to, but none did.
