Jon Nicholas

Corrected entry: Darby tells a man (whom she's never met before) to wear a red ball cap when she is to meet him the next day. No one, including the hitman who recorded the call, knew she was going to request the red cap, but it just so happens that there's a bright red ball cap there in the room. (00:57:20 - 01:00:50)

Jon Nicholas

Correction: Actually, the scene showing the red cap is already the next day as Khamel is stuffing the pillow under his shirt to go and meet Darby. Thus Khamel would of had time to go out and acquire a red ball hat just as Gavin would have had to.

Luna Negra

Corrected entry: When Alex is "caught" looking at Ms. Lewton's tire, the FBI agents put him in their car and leave. If Alex had been rigging her car for a crash, wouldn't the agents at least notify Ms. Lewton right away and tell her not to drive anywhere until it could be inspected?

Jon Nicholas

Correction: She was the one who notified them. They probably told her that information over the phone, and it would be common sense for her to check.

Matchstick Men (2003)

Corrected entry: Nicolas Cage arrives home late to find his daughter asleep. He has bought a tub of her favorite ice cream, but apparently neither of them stay up to eat it. First thing the next morning, she gets the ice cream out. When opened, it's obviously already been eaten from. (00:40:05)

Jon Nicholas

Correction: Actually when Cage arrives, the girl wakes up, so there is time for her to go and try her favourite ice cream before going to bed again.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: When Drs. Jenson and Webb are looking at vampire blood on their monitor, the molecules are moving around in a liquid state. This would mean the doctors put a drop of the blood directly under the microscope. This method is antiquated and is not the routine procedure that has been in use for well over a hundred years. When blood is prepared for microscopic examination, it is smeared, dried, and stained on slides.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: This is vampire blood, however. As revealed far earlier in the movie (when Karen was saying that the cells were bi-convex, which was "impossible"), vampire blood is drastically different from human. Who knows how many differences the two have?

Seabiscuit (2003)

Correction: The hat is the same, it just appears to be narrower toward the end because he is running on a horse, the wind will cause the hat to roll up, especially to a man's hat in the 30's that probably has worn the same hat for a very long time.

Corrected entry: When Pacino is putting his gun back together, he tells O'Donnell to never call it a gun. Soon after that Pacino himself calls it a gun.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: I strongly believe this is an intentional, tongue in cheek statement which fits the dictatorial performance of Col. Slade - he makes capricious rules for others that he doesn't have to follow himself.

Corrected entry: Early in the film, Frodo, Sam, and Gollum are camped out inside a diamond-shaped structure. When the structure is shown from the outside, the diamond appears taller and thinner than when shown from inside looking out.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: The upper edge of the diamond is built out as well as up, so its appearance changes a lot depending on the camera angle.

STP

Corrected entry: Throughout the three films, Mount Doom is always shown spewing lava from its summit. This suggests that the lava is full to the brim. When Frodo and company reach the mountain, however, there's a large, open door leading into the center of the mountain. There is no evidence that lava has ever flowed through the door. Once inside, the lava level is hundreds of feet below them, but moments before lava was still spewing out the very top of the mountain.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: It is quite possible as with any volcano that there are separate lava tubes at the surface, obviously the entire mountain could not be hollow because it would collapse in on itself.

Elf (2003)

Corrected entry: In order to do a DNA analysis, you need at least a whole tube of blood. Buddy had his finger pricked, which would not supply nearly enough blood to have the analysis performed.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: If that were true, then a lot less murders would be solved. CSI does a good job of showing that you don't need much blood. It's BETTER to have more blood, but not necessary.

Matchstick Men (2003)

Corrected entry: While Nicolas Cage is waiting to meet his daughter for the first time, he smokes in his car. Pay attention to the length of his cigarette during camera shifts. Sometimes the length change doesn't match the amount of time between shots.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: It is showing that he was waiting a long period of time. when it cuts to a diferent angle its cutting to lets say 30 mins later or an hour. It's time elapsing.

Best in Show (2000)

Corrected entry: When Gerry and Cookie are trying to check in at the Taft hotel, pay attention to the wall clocks behind the manager. A series of clocks such as these are to display times in several major US cities - each in a different time zone. All clocks, however, show the same time. Plus, the times never change during the scene.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: All of the labels under the clocks are of cities in the Eastern Time Zone. That is why they are all set the same.
