Scrappy

Trivia: This was the first film to show in over 2000 cinemas in America.

Trivia: After deciding to perform one of the stunts himself, Stallone broke a rib, much to the displeasure of director Ted Kotcheff. The shot however remained in the film. (The last sequence where Rambo falls through the trees.)

Scrappy

Trivia: Originally there was an alternate ending shot for the film in which Rambo killed himself, however, this was found too depressing and the script was changed for him to survive.

Scrappy

Trivia: Under the glass top of Grissom's desk are pictures of Jerry Bruckheimer, the shows executive producer.

Scrappy

Trivia: Keith Richards was due to make a cameo role as Jack Sparrow's father, but had to pull out due to tour commitments with the Rolling Stones.

Scrappy

Audio problem: When the Colonel arrives at the tent we hear the Sheriff say "We're a little busy this morning Colonel, what can I do for you?", but the movement on his lips does not match what we hear.

Scrappy

Audio problem: In the scene after Rambo holds the knife to the Sheriff's neck, we see the sheriff in the tent having his neck looked at by the doctor. The other guy, Dave, says that Rambo is now his problem. The Sheriff then replies, but the movements of his mouth do not match what he says.

Jurassic Park (1993)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where the park ranger is about to shoot the raptor with his shotgun, we see him unfolding the butt of the gun. As he does this he places the butt under his arm. As the camera angle changes, he has the butt pressed fully against his shoulder. (01:40:50)

Random Acts of Violence - S3-E13

Other mistake: Just after they arrest the Janitor, they are walking out of the building past the employee's. The girl sitting at her chair is not actually typing on her keyboard, her fingers never even press on the keys and her screen-saver is displayed on the screen. (00:37:15)

Commando (1985)

Commando mistake picture

Continuity mistake: At the start of the film we see two guys on the bin wagon. The one on the left of the screen already has his Uzi in his left hand, yet in the next shot we see him lean into the back of the bin wagon to pick it out. (00:01:45)

Innerspace (1987)

Trivia: After Scrimshaw and Canker are shrunk 50%, there are a few scenes where they are seen with full-size actors. These shots were actually filmed using forced perspective. For the car scene, the rear of the car is actually twice as large as a normal car rear, and was about 20 feet away. During the scene half size hands and double-size heads were used. Using this method, the film-makers didn't have to worry about compositing two separate shots in post production, so the shots could be completed quicker. Even in the final scene with the suitcase, the case was twice as large, but the hand that closes it was real, closer to the camera in sync with the closing. (It took about 20 takes before it was perfect).

Innerspace (1987)

Trivia: The filmmakers used two different shopping malls for the scene where the doctor injects Tuck into Jack's rear. The opening scenes where the doctor runs in and heads for the elevator were shot in the Northridge Mall in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. The scene where he reaches the top and rams the syringe into Jack was filmed on the top floor of the Sherman Oaks Galleria, another mall several miles away.

Question: Why is it at the start of the film when Gollum is being tortured, that the Orcs do not kill him when he has given them the info they want? Orcs are not the nicest of creatures, and we would expect them to kill for the sake of it. Any ideas?

Scrappy

Chosen answer: Orcs aren't the nicest creatures, no, but they will follow orders - presumably Sauron, for reasons of his own, wanted Gollum alive. Remember that it's never really made clear whether Gollum was set loose or he escaped. If it's the former, then Sauron must have some use for Gollum - most probably he figured that it wouldn't hurt having another agent out there looking for the Ring. If it's the latter, then Gollum simply broke out before the Orcs had a chance to kill him.

Tailkinker

Trivia: Louisa Rix played Kevin's mum in both the film, and the TV sketch, whereas the Dad has been played by a number of actors.
