Continuity mistake: When Rogue and Gambit are playing pool and Rogue is getting ready to try and sink the 8-ball, the cue ball is shown to be close to the corner pocket and its rail. When the shot changes, both balls are suddenly further away from the pocket and the rail. It's an instantaneous change, so it can't be a matter of the cue ball rolling. (00:06:45)

Continuity mistake: When Cyclops forces his way to the front of the crowd to confront Warren Worthington (Mystique in disguise), the Lady Gardener is standing just behind the mutant with the bowl-cut hairdo. When the shot changes, the two are suddenly standing next to each other. (00:04:30)

Continuity mistake: Several episodes in season 4 have scenes that take place immediately after the events of the final episode of season 3. However, the 7 years that passed in real life between seasons 3 and 4 are made apparent by the appearance of some characters. Notably Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat who had visibly matured out of their teenage years, and Portia de Rossi, who had plastic surgery on her face.

Continuity mistake: During the previous episode, Skinner receives a nasty gash on his head courtesy of Billy Miles. This episode takes place 48 hours later and there is no indication whatsoever that Skinner received such an injury (the wound is visible once again in the next episode). (00:15:35)

Continuity mistake: After Spider-Man, Mary Jane, Dr. Strange and Wong escape from Baron Mordo's lair, the lair itself disappears into thin air because of, according to Wong, the fluctuation of diminishing portal energy. Continuity mistake: After Wolverine is knocked unconscious by the voltage of the cage that Beast is trapped in, Beast is able to keep Wolverine from falling into the vat of chemicals below the cage by gripping the fabric of Wolverine's costume. Once the fabric tears away, Beast is able to grab Wolverine by the hand. Once he loses grip, Wolverine is able to grab onto the cage itself. When Genevieve starts shooting the laser gun at the Hobgoblin, Beast is again shown to be holding Wolverine by the fabric of his costume. (00:08:30 - 00:12:05)
