The Little Foxes (1941)

Trivia: Herbert Marshall, who played Bette Davis' husband, Horace Giddens, lost a leg in WWI and wore a prosthetic limb. When Horace is desperately attempting to get upstairs to get his heart medication (otherwise he will die), he briefly goes off camera and is replaced by a stunt double who attempts to crawl up the staircase.

Trivia: The barman seen with the goat at the shabby Hog's Head Inn where Harry and Hermione hold the first Dumbledore's Army meeting is Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus' brother. In the novels he runs the Hog's Head Inn and was investigated for performing improper magic on goats. (This was confirmed by J.K. Rowling in an online chat at The Leaky Cauldron.)

Trivia: According to the film's writers, Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott, in the DVD commentary, the ship captain that Mercer kills is named Hawkins. He is the father of Jim Hawkins from Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island." In that novel, Jim's father, a ship captain, disappeared without a trace. Rossio and Elliott decided to provide their own explanation as to what happened to him.

Trivia: During Hagrid's Care of Magical Creatures lesson, just before Harry approaches Buckbeak in the paddock Beaky has a 'potty accident.' Manure is seen dropping from his hindquarters and can be heard thudding onto the ground. This is computer generated— - the CGI artists were having a bit of fun and wanted to add a touch of realism.
