MoonFaery

Corrected entry: The morning after the students kidnap Mr. Griffin, his wife goes to the police to report him missing. Later that morning, the police are questioning Susan about his whereabouts. However, the police usually wait about 48 hrs. before declaring anyone over the age of 18 missing and beginning their search for them.

MoonFaery

Correction: This is a movie/TV myth. Police departments do NOT have a waiting period for declaring adults missing, especially when someone is concerned enough to file a missing persons report.

Ginger Snaps (2000)

Corrected entry: Sam loses an awful lot of blood for someone who manages to stay alive and conscious. Bridgitte takes a couple of minutes, and follows a pretty thick trail of blood to find him, even though he should have passed out from either pain or blood loss by then.

MoonFaery

Correction: This is because he has been bitten by the Ginger wolf. The werewolf "infection" has been relesed into his system causing him to heal faster and fight pain better. Just like at the beginning of the movie where Ginger is attacked by the beast of Bailey Downs and her wounds begin to heal within a few minutes.

Correction: She was a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers, which makes this not really trivia.

Farscape (1999)

Show generally

Corrected entry: In just about every episode I've seen, it's been pretty evident that Ben Browder had to have mascara put on as part of the make-up process. One or both sets of his lower lashes usually have a couple of spots where it clumps.

MoonFaery

Correction: Ben Browder has got birthmarks beneath his lower lashes. They are not mascara lumps.

Mortug

Correction: No, they don't. They all write in block print, which makes them appear similar, but if you look closely you can see that there are definite differences between their handwriting (especially Willow's loopy "Hi Giles" and Xander's cramped "How do we kill them?").

Shay

Corrected entry: The film starts the day before Pinky's wedding (she tells her friends "one more day of freedom"); however, at least several weeks go by before her fiancé's parents call it off (Jess' teammates wonder if her parents are okay with her playing "all this time"), and we aren't told of any other reason it may have been delayed.

MoonFaery

Correction: Pinky means that there's one day until the pre-wedding festivities start...it was like the day before her engagement party...there was still plenty of time before the actual marriage, which gives the fiance's parents plenty of time to call it off.

Corrected entry: Miss Baggoli shouldn't have even considered allowing Carla to replace Lola as Eliza. Lola, having the female lead, would have had an understudy who stepped in if she became unable to perform. Allowing Carla to take over the role would have left the role of Mrs. Higgins unfilled.

MoonFaery

Correction: Actually, when Carla is wearing the red dress and looking in the mirror, as she says "It's really amazes me that I get eveything that I want", her friend comes to the mirror putting on make-up. She's dressed up as Mrs. Higgins, so Carla was Lola's understudy, and her friend was her own understudy.

Eurotrip (2004)

Correction: She clearly says "Whore".

ACertainShadeofGreen

Correction: Bit too tenuous to be trivia.

Smallville (2001)

Season 1 generally

Corrected entry: Throughout Season 1 the ages/years in school of Clark, Lana, Pete, and Chloe are inconsistent. Supposedly they're all the same age and freshmen, as Pete states in the pilot episode the football team always chooses a freshman guy to be the Scarecrow, which would make them either 14 or 15. However, they're all seen driving (or refer to driving) at least once, which would make them 16, and Sophomores.

MoonFaery

Correction: It is possible for some of them to be driving at age fifteen. Kansas allows fifteen year olds to have a Farm License, which allows them to use farm equipment and drive to and from school. There are some other possibilities as well, such as a Restricted License, read about them at Kansas' Department of Revenue website: http://www.ksrevenue.org/dmvteen.htm.

The New Guy (2002)

Correction: I'm from Texas and the exaggerated accents seen in the movies are actually very rare.

Grumpy Scot

Corrected entry: During the news report that is on in Eugene's hospital room, the anchorwoman says that the pipe that killed Kat was metal, but it wasn't - it was plastic.

MoonFaery

Correction: Many times a newsroom has mis-reported an incident. Other times two news stations may report different accounts of the same story.

Stefanie

Correction: It is unlikely, but still personal taste.

Stefanie

Corrected entry: The Terminator makes a big deal about saving John and Katherine so they can stop the machines, but, what about finding and protecting Kyle Reese? The future would be kinda screwed if John's father wasn't alive to be sent back in time. It's got nothing to do with him being born after the war, because John wasn't born until 1985 but that didn't stop the machines trying to kill his mother. Reese was also one of John's lieutenants. So, regardless of whether or not the Machines knew he was John's father, the fact that John's lieutenants are being killed off should make it somewhat of a priority to make sure that Reese is found and protected.

MoonFaery

Correction: Reese was never one of John's LT's, he was a sergeant - he says so after rescues Sarah in tech noir in the car: "Reese, Sergeant/Tech-Com, DN38416".
