Corrected entry: Helen sutures Paris's wounds after his duel with King Menelaus. Suturing wounds did not become common practice until thousands of years after the movie is set.

Iron Man (2008)
Corrected entry: When Pepper was helping Tony with replacing his mini reactor she yanked out the electromagnet. lf she did that then simply putting the new reactor in his chest (like Tony did) would do him no good.
Correction: The copper wire was wrapped around a permanent magnet hence why it is obviously a black ferrite ring. The casing the arc reactor is going into either has an electro-magnet at the bottom or is in itself an electro-magnet. The permanent magnet is a just in case solution that only has enough strength to keep the metal particles from shifting for a short while.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: How come in one of the final scenes the T-1000 at first needs Sarah to call for Johnny when just a few minutes later it could easily transform into Sarah's shape and call for Johnny himself? It's already sampled her from when he scratched her in the lift earlier. This can not be corrected saying T-1000 needs to consciously sample a subject because we saw in the hospital that the guard just stepped on it and the T-100 transformed.
Correction: That's why the T-1000 chose to hide on the floor: to obtain a sample of the guard. So, for this enty, no it couldn't have called for John itself yet, as the scratch didn't take a sample. If nothing else there's an argument to be made that its malfunctions have impaired its abilities too.

Clash of the Titans (2010)
Corrected entry: Io tells Perseus that no man had ever ridden a Pegasus before, implying that Perseus would be the first; however, Perseus is not a man but a demigod, and as such he cannot be the first "man" to ride a Pegasus.
Correction: Io tells Perseus what he needs to hear to get him moving; that doesn't have to be the absolute truth. Perseus, as it made pretty clear throughout, hates the fact that he's a demigod and is shown to reject to the point of irrationality anything related to the Gods. Telling him that he'd be the first demigod to ride a pegasus would be more likely to make him stalk off to find something else, probably while shouting that he "can do this as a MAN!" By equating him with mankind and leaving out any reference to his divine ancestry, Io is able to point him in the right direction without risking him taking offence.
Corrected entry: When Medusa first notices Percy she puts her glasses on the crazy lady's statue, but when they are later seen with the head she has glasses on.
Correction: Well yeah, one of them put the glasses on the head to make it safer to carry around.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

Correction: Copied verbatim from IMDB.

Iron Man (2008)
Corrected entry: Tony has a news conference after his escape and is handed a burger as he gets out of his Rolls Royce. As he walks into the room he eats the last bite of the burger. We can tell that there's nothing left in the paper bag. When he sits on the floor in front of the podium he pulls a burger out of his pocket and eats it. The second burger appeared out of nowhere. This mistake can not be explained by saying he bought more than 1 burger because when Obediah asks him if he brought a burger for him Tony says it's the last one left.
Correction: Tony claims that it's the last one left. That doesn't have to be the truth. He's been craving cheeseburgers for months - hardly unreasonable that he wouldn't want to share.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009)
Corrected entry: To make this film look more realistic Sony actually invented a new kind of filming. lt consists of a camera which is customized to translate the movements to a computer. That way they would build the environment and the movements of the characters and film it with the camera in different angles to see which is the best.
Correction: Not true; Sony's 2007 computer animated film, Surf's Up, used the same technique.

Troy (2004)
Corrected entry: When the Trojans invade the shores at daybreak to initiate the second battle, it is quite obvious that Brad Pitt was playing the role of Patroclus until his throat was cut. First, you can see Pitt's face in Achilles' helmet in the close-up shots when he is about to start fighting with Hector. Second, you can see the significant change in Patroclus' physique before and after Hector cut his throat. Now i know that in The Iliad He was disguised as Achilles but that wasn't shown in the movie nor anything (other than Achilles' mother) connected to god interference.
Correction: Sorry, but it's Garrett Hedlund playing the role throughout. Any shot where it's possible to make out his face, it's quite clearly not Brad Pitt - the easiest tell is the eyes, as Hedlund's are noticeably lighter than Pitt's. There's also no physique change; it can be seen in the scene that introduces Patroclus earlier in the film that Hedlund and Pitt have similar builds. Any apparent difference is simply due to Hedlund moving from a compact fighting stance to being bent backwards in an unnatural position, then lying limply on the floor.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)
Corrected entry: At the end of the first movie, Bumblebee speaks. He says "Requesting permission to stay with the boy." However in the sequel, he's back to talking by using his radio.
Correction: And is referenced in the movie. Sam believes he's "faking it" when Mikayla asks if "he's still having voice problems". Two years has passed. His voice may have fixed temporarily or maybe Sam is right, he's just faking it.

300 (2006)
Corrected entry: If metallic shields of Spartans are not damaged by forceful strokes of enemy swords and spears, then how can arrows make large holes in them?
Correction: The shields are quite thick and strong. The arrows don't make holes in the shield: they end up embedded in the shield (which requires considerably less force). The swords and spears are also swung with less force and so don't make any noticeable damage.

Troy (2004)
Corrected entry: As Patroclus enters Achilles' tent to ask if he will join the Greeks to fight the Trojans, Achilles is seated while eating and drinking. In disgust at Patroclus, Achilles dashes the contents of his cup on the fire. Moments later, he drinks from the empty cup.
Correction: Which just means that the cup was not entirely emptied when he flung out the contents. Try it yourself; most often a tiny amount of liquid is left in the cup when you do this.
