Doctor Who (1963)

Destiny of the Daleks - S17-E1

Factual error: Davros comments that, between them, the Daleks are carrying half a megaton of explosives - in other words, roughly twenty-five times more explosive force than the Hiroshima or Nagasaki bombs. An explosion of that size should cause enormous destruction (vaporizing everything within roughly two kilometers), yet when the Doctor detonates them they explode with about as much power as a small stick of dynamite each.

Doctor Who (1963)

Resurrection of the Daleks - S21-E4

Audio problem: Davros' lips don't move when he says, "Now for the Daleks," just before he releases the Dalek-killing virus.

The Trial of a Time Lord 5-8 (aka Mindwarp) - S23-E2

Continuity mistake: When Kiv wakes up in Peri's body, (s)he orders Crozier to kill the body Kiv was using before. Crozier responds that it's already dead, but in the previous shot the old body could be seen breathing.

Doctor Who (1963)

The Power of Kroll - S16-E5

Revealing mistake: The footage of Kroll eating Harg is obviously reversed, as evidenced by the fact that the smoke from the pipe is heading into it, whereas in every other shot it's flowing out of it. (00:23:00)

Destiny of the Daleks - S17-E1

Revealing mistake: Right after Davros yells "The Daleks will rule the universe," in Episode 3, one of the Dalek operators accidentally starts to lift the top off his Dalek before the scene ends. (00:17:35)

Doctor Who (1963)

The Daemons - S8-E5

Continuity mistake: After completing the third summoning ritual, the Master turns towards the spot where Azal is about to appear. He has his arms lowered and Jo is stood to his left. In the next shot his arms are up, and Jo has moved to being in front of him.

Doctor Who (1963)

The Chase - S2-E8

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor and Ian encounter the Frankenstein monster in episode four, you can see a Dalek behind them, even though it's long before the Daleks arrive in this time zone.

Doctor Who (1963)

The Invasion - S6-E3

Trivia: The episode was intended to prove that Earth-based stories could be produced cheaply and effectively. Ironically, it was the most expensive Doctor Who episode ever produced when made, and remained so for several years.

Doctor Who (1963)

The Invasion of Time - S15-E6

Continuity mistake: When the Doctor shoots Stor with the De-Mat Gun, the flash starts on Stor's left-hand side, engulfs him, then jumps substantially to the right before whiting out the frame.

Doctor Who (1963)

Remembrance of the Daleks - S25-E1

Continuity mistake: After the Special Weapons Dalek blows up the gate to Ratcliffe's warehouse, you can see that some of the Daleks were slightly damaged by the explosion. In all the following shots, they have been repaired.

The Daleks' Master Plan - S3-E4

Trivia: Originally the Time Destructor's core was made out of "Vitaranium." It was changed to "Taranium" after William Hartnell kept calling it "Vitamin."
