The Big Bounce (2004)

Corrected entry: When Nancy (Sara Foster) gets out of the water after swimming from the Alison boat, she is wearing large hoop earrings. The earrings were not there when she was on the boat.

Correction: Yes, but there is obviously a large time lapse between the last time we see them on the boat, and the next shot we see of them near the shore. Since we don't actually see them leave the boat, or know how much more time they spent on the boat after that last shot of them on the boat, it could be argued that she put them on before she left the boat (for whatever reason) and it just wasn't shown on camera.

Starman (1984)

Corrected entry: Throughout the movie, everyone seems to know that Starman and Jenny are driving a 1977 Mustang - Mustangs in that era were nearly identical from 1974-1977, it is highly doubtful anyone could immediately identify that car as a 1977 Mustang just from a quick glimpse.

Correction: It is likely the cops captured the license plate number and got the exact model off the plate's registration records. That info would take an average policeman about 5 seconds to find out just by calling the plate number in on his radio.

Die Another Day (2002)

Corrected entry: When Bond is being chased in the rocket car by the sunbeam, for a few seconds he's in the world's smallest coniferous forest, which seems to exist for no other reason than to shear the sides of and look good on fire. After that he's back on the sheet of ice, with no vegetation to be seen for miles. (01:28:20)

Correction: The scenes were actually filmed in Iceland, and Iceland does have a lot of lush greenery.

Corrected entry: During the final landing approach to Dulles, Virginia and subsequently go around, the aircraft was suddenly nearby to Frederick, Maryland. Why would the protagonist choose to land at FDK with a 5,000-foot runway instead of circling around again to Dulles with a 10,000-foot runway. Certainly the flight time of a circling, second approach to Dulles would be less than that to fly to FDK.

Correction: Dr. David Grant (Kurt Russell) explains very clearly why he can't circle around for another attempt at the same runway: In not so many words he says he is not an experienced pilot and knows almost nothing about flying planes, especially jumbo jets, and is unable to circle around for another attempt. The best he can manage is to turn the plane at little to line the plane up at another runway.
