The Karate Kid

Continuity mistake: When the karate kid first goes to Mr Han's house to train, he drops his jacket by the doorway. Later on as they are talking, you can see his jacket move to different spots on the ground between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Dre is looking through the wood posts at the lady who is "mind controlling" the cobra, in the exterior shots of the window there are 4 bars, but in the interior shots there are 7 bars.

Factual error: At the end of the first semifinal, as Cheng's gang gather to congratulate him, the events are being recorded for posterity by a photographer standing about 6 feet away, who, unfortunately is using at least a 200mm lens. I'm not sure he could even get Cheng's left eye into focus.

Mr. Han: You've already accomplished everything you wanted to. Why do you still want to fight?
Dre Parker: Because win or lose, I don't want to be afraid any more. And I'm still afraid.

Mr. Han: Sometimes the most important fights are the ones you avoid.

Dre Parker: Mr. Han... Do you know you got a car in your living room?
