Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gisele is pointing a gun at Roman, Gisele's finger moves from on the trigger guard to the trigger in different shots. (00:41:25)
Continuity mistake: During the vault chase scene, the vault spins on two separate occasions, tangling the lines in the process. The first time, it is being dragged out of the police station and the second when it destroys half a bank. The lines could not have been untangled, because both times they guys were turning to the right and the vault spins in the same direction. (01:40:30)
Continuity mistake: The Dodge Chargers stolen were newer models while the matt black ones used in the heist were older models.
Continuity mistake: When the mini-gun starts shooting at Dom on the bridge, at first we get a shot of a line of bullets hitting the door. In the next shot, the door is fine and the first barrage of bullets hit the bonnet. (01:47:45)
Continuity mistake: As the cars are being stolen from the train car, they're violently dropped onto the ground, yet they don't have a scratch on them. The best example is the vintage Corvette that Vin Diesel drives out of the train car. The car falls at least 6 feet, landing on the front left corner of the bumper, yet seconds later, the car is in perfect condition. (00:14:40)
Continuity mistake: Almost all the cars aren't with Brazilian plates. The plates here are always XXX- Where X are letters and numbers.
Continuity mistake: When Dom and the gang burn all the money, they smash one guy pretty good, broken nose and cuts over his face. When this guy explains what happened to Reyes, there are no marks on his face. (00:49:30)
Continuity mistake: On the train Mia is reading a magazine, Brian takes it off her and she puts her hand on her her chin and keeps it there, in shot, until the camera changes to a closeup of her face. When we see the closeup of her face, her hand is not there. (00:08:00)
Continuity mistake: At the start we see Mia driving a Honda NSX with with the aerial up. Camera changes and the aerial is gone. (00:01:20)
Continuity mistake: When the translator is saying something doesn't add up, her hand is under the file in one angle but on top in another. (00:35:10)
Continuity mistake: The hole in the plastic which is around the vault Han ordered changes after Tej says "You got a 100 million dollars in a safe, are you going to put somebody else's handprint on it?" This is easiest to spot around the palm scanner: at first, it is completely free, but after that line, the plastic suddenly hangs in front of it. (01:05:40)
Continuity mistake: There is one point during the vault scene where a cop is leaning out the passenger window shooting at Brian and Dom while driving down the pavement. However when that car crashes just 2 seconds later, he's not in the window, which has been wound up. (01:47:50)
Continuity mistake: When Hobbs and Dom are fighting, there is a shot where there is a yellow hammer by Hobbs' head, which disappears instantly. (01:32:25)
Continuity mistake: After they bring the thong with the hand print, the antenna next to the computer is either straight or skewed depending on the shot.
Continuity mistake: When O'Connor blocks the bus on the two-lane highway with his vehicle, the bus swerves around his car towards the shoulder, clips the right rear of the car, and breaks the vehicle's rear window. In the next shot, the bus reverses angles, flips over the left rear of O'Connor's car nearest the center line, becomes airborne, and then rolls over and over down the center of the highway. If it had continued on its initial trajectory, it would have crushed his vehicle and continued onto the shoulder. (00:01:45)
Continuity mistake: In the first film, Vince gets his arm caught up in steel wire while hijacking a lorry. We then see he has scars up his arm. However when we first see Vince in this film the scars are no longer present. They then show up again inside the house.
Suggested correction: When Brian and Mia first arrive at the Favela's, you see scars on Vince's arm as he greets them and goes back up the steps. (00:04.20).
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Hobbs confronts Dominic for the first time at the location where all of the drivers go to race, Hobbs and everyone he is with aim their guns towards Dominic. Officer Neves pulls her gun out as well but when the shot shows the whole group and Dominic says "This is Brazil!", Officer Neves has both of her hands at her sides. Right before it cuts back to her, you can see her start to reach for her gun. But the next shot shows her holding her gun out already, not just pulling it out. (01:11:00)
Continuity mistake: When Dom's car crashes against Hernán and Zizi's, there are two oil spills on the road. Dom stands up, and the oil spills are gone; plus, the sunlight on the pavement has changed. The position of the line attached to Dom's car also changes several times between shots.
Continuity mistake: When Zizi dies, his arm lies on top of the line. A shot later, his body has moved half a metre away.
