Resident Evil: Afterlife

The movie begins with Alice recapping the events of the previous installment, where she and her allies infiltrated the Umbrella Corporation's underground facility beneath Tokyo, only to be betrayed. As the facility self-destructed, Alice managed to escape and make her way to Alaska. She finds a recorded message from her former ally Claire Redfield, who claims to be in a safe haven in Los Angeles.

Alice flies to Los Angeles in search of Claire but finds the city abandoned and in ruins. She eventually locates a small group of survivors led by Luther West. They are attacked by hordes of zombies and are forced to retreat to a closed-down prison, which they fortify as their base. Alice learns that the T-virus, created by the Umbrella Corporation, infected most of humanity, turning them into zombies. Additionally, a new threat, the Las Plagas parasite, has created super-powered infected individuals called Executioners.

While Alice contacts the Umbrella Corporation, their AI program known as the Red Queen warns her that an airborne antivirus is available in a safe haven called Arcadia. Desperate to save humanity, Alice and her group decide to search for Arcadia. On their way, they encounter a projection of Alice's former ally, Albert Wesker, who reveals himself as the primary antagonist. Wesker has become superhuman and launches an attack on the group, killing Luther and capturing Alice.

Alice awakens on Wesker's massive Umbrella Corporation ship and discovers that Claire has been subjected to experimentation, leading to memory loss. Alice manages to free Claire and they fight their way through the ship, eventually confronting and defeating Wesker. Recognizing that the ship is full of survivors who are being experimented upon, Alice releases them and orchestrates their escape.

Reuniting with the remaining survivors from her group, Alice locates the Arcadia safe haven, which turns out to be a ship stranded at sea. They board the ship, only to discover it is a trap set by the Umbrella Corporation. The survivors are attacked by the Executioner Majini, led by Umbrella's scientist, Dr. Isaacs, who has cloned himself multiple times.

In a final epic battle, Alice confronts Dr. Isaacs and the two engage in a fierce fight. With the help of her allies, Alice emerges victorious, killing Dr. Isaacs and destroying the remaining clones. However, in the process, Arcadia is destroyed, leaving them without a safe haven.

Alice and the survivors regroup and decide to head towards a rumored uninfected area in Alaska. As they board their aircraft, Alice looks back at the devastation caused by the undead and swears to continue fighting the Umbrella Corporation.

The movie ends with Alice and her group ascending into the skies, determined to survive and take down the Umbrella Corporation once and for all in their quest for justice and the salvation of humanity.

Continuity mistake: When Luther ducks to avoid getting hit by Alice's plane, his gun falls out of his pants. He then picks it up again just before he runs off to clear the roof. But in the shot where Angel runs away, his gun is still lying in the middle of the "E." (00:30:20)

Question: I've seen the movie several times now but I still don't know the answer to this: in the beginning of the movie, who kills the two Japanese snipers - zombies or some clones of Alice?

Answer: Based on the sounds to go with the scene, I'd say it is zombies taking the guards out. However, considering following events it is more likely that Alice and her friends have something to do with it.
