Easter egg: On the Extras menu, you will see a list of extras, some thunder, and the close-up of a dragon. As soon as you get to the extras menu, immediately press left on the directional pad on your DVD remote. The dragon's eye is now highlighted like any other text. Click on the dragon's eye, and the mini-game, Save Kitana, will open. When you win the game, you will see a scene of Lui Kang defeating Baraka, Sheeva, and rescuing Kitana.

Continuity mistake: There's a part when Raiden, Liu Kang, Kitana, Jade Jax and Sonya are confronted by 3 ninjas and Sindel. Raiden decides to take on the ninjas, but you'll notice that he only fights against 2 of them.
Raiden: It cannot be!
Sindel: Oh, but it can and it is!
Trivia: In the beginning of the movie, when Rayden 'shoots himself' against Kahn, he makes a strange cry, which is actually from the Mortal Kombat II games.
