Easter egg: When you insert any of the 6 movie DVDs in the Star Wars saga, once the FBI screen pops up (red in Episodes I, II, IV, V, VI; and blue in Episode III), enter a number between 1 and 3 (and press Enter if needed). Once the Star Wars logo and the Episode number disappears, a menu with the planet that you chose (and not what the DVD randomly chooses) will load.
Easter egg: If you go to the special features, then go to page two, click on Visual Effects Progression Scenes. Once there, highlight Play All. From Play all press the up arrow on your remote, followed by the right arrow. A dart board will light up red. Press enter and watch a funny slow mo flick.AquaMarina
Easter egg: HIDDEN BONUS MATERIAL on the Special Extended DVD Version: There are two secrets on the discs containing the film, one on each disc. Instructions for both: go to the Scene Index on either disc, then scroll down to the LAST scene (either "The Council of Elrond" on Disc 1 or "Official Fan Club Credits" on Disc 2), then scroll down one more time. On the first DVD, a little ring will appear next to the line "new scene." Click Enter. This leads to an introduction by Peter Jackson and the MTV Movie Awards parody on the Council of Elrond (starring Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar), which isn't suitable for children (and does not appear in the UK version because of the BBFC). On the second DVD, scene 48, click on the number 48 - on the right side of the screen - and the silhouettes of Barad Dur and Orthanc appear just underneath, click it. You'll see another introduction by Peter Jackson, and the Two Towers cinematic preview trailer: the one played in theatres after the Fellowship of the Ring, towards the end of its running period.
Easter egg: On the film disc (disc 1) of the Theatrical Version, in the language selection menu there is a THX logo somewhere. Highlight it using the arrows on your remote, then enter the number 1138 while you have it highlighted (may vary on different DVD players, on mine I have to push a little 10 button, then 1 1 3 8, which makes 1138). You will then be treated to a sequence of bloopers from the film.
Easter egg: This is on the Bonus/Feature DVD of 2-DVD set. Go to Behind the Scenes. Click on Publicity. An Omnidroid silhouette appears near the end of the menu's animation loop. When the silhouette appears, move the cursor right to highlight it and then click enter. A short clip will play that shows Dash & Mr Incredible competing for a TV remote. When that ends, if you click on the silhouette again, a different short clip of Mr Incredible & Frozone appears.GrafSpee
Easter egg: On Disc 2 of the Special Edition, there are several easter eggs which are very easy to find. They can be accessed by highlighting the small areas of the "comic book", which include a crack in the wall, Batman's reflection in a puddle and the Scarecrow's eyes. The unlocked features include a stunt rehearsal reel and CG demo.
Easter egg: Go to the page for scenes 13-16. After you wait for a while,(Note: a lot of patience is required to find this) a 17th scene will appear. Click on it and it will take you to a page with secret military files. Unfortunately, only three of them actually work. Only time will tell how to access the other ones.Brad
Easter egg: Insert Disc 1, when you get to the main menu enter the numbers 82997 (the date of Judgment Day) this should reveal the message 'The future is not set' and you'll be presented with two deleted scenes, one is the T-1000 searching John's room and the other is the alternate 'Future Coda' ending. This applies only to the regular DVD. This may be easier using a computer's DVD drive.
Easter egg: Go from the main menu to the "Special Features" menu, then select "Storyboards." Storyboard selections are shown next to an image of Peter Cushing with one huge eye. scroll the cursor down to the words "Special Features" then move the cursor to the right. Cushing's eye will be highlighted. Select it to see the film's "Swedish Bookstore" scene, which is shown backwards in the actual film, as it was shot (forwards).
Easter egg: There's a short documentary on the DVD about the subliminal message cartoon that triggers River. To get to it, put the cursor on play on the main screen. From there, push the left button once. Now the cursor will be on the right side of the screen in the middle (up and down). Press enter.
