Visible crew/equipment: During the Harvester attack on the petrol station, the Harvester uses its cannon on a fleeing car, blowing it up into the air. During the shot of the remains of the car spinning through the air, the cylinder of the special effects cannon used to fire the car into the air is visible protruding from the centre of the vehicle. Terminator Salvation (2009)
1 visible crew/equipment mistake
Directed by: McG
Starring: Christian Bale, Helena Bonham Carter, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Moon Bloodgood
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Blair escapes with Marcus and Barnes launches an explosive into the tunnel, Marcus hops onto Blair to save her from the scorching flames. After the fire, Marcus' coat would have been burnt to a crisp, his hair singed off and the skin on his back fried. More evidence pointing to this was that his coat was merely one previously worn by a Resistance fighter, not special in any way, and he has regular skin and hair. (01:06:50)
John Connor: I knew it. I knew it was coming. But this is not the future my mother warned me about. And in this future, I don't know if we can win this war. This is John Connor.
Trivia: When Marcus Wright, Kyle Reese, and Star leave Los Angeles, they make their way up the hill up to Griffith Park. This is an homage to Terminator 1 because this observatory location is the same location that Arnold Schwarzenegger arrives at from the future, finding Bill Paxton and some other thugs and stealing one of their clothes.
Question: Why doesn't Skynet kill Kyle Reese when he is their capture if it can recognize him as Kyle Reese?

Chosen answer: We are never given any direct indication that they know Reese's importance. They don't appear to know that Reese is Connor's father. They are merely using him as bait for Connor. They must know that John is interested in someone named Kyle Reese and figure that news of his capture would bring them the man they really want.
