The Simpsons Movie

Character mistake: The mob is marching to Homer, however they are going the wrong way. In the mob we see several people who all know where Homer lives. So why march the other way? (00:31:40)

Suggested correction: It's a gag, not a mistake. It's actually no different than Homer's hair coming out like an unraveling thread, or the fact that it supported Bart's weight, or the fact that Homer and Bart were able to drive around on the dome in the first place.

Continuity mistake: When a naked Bart is cuffed to the sign post, beyond the grass behind him is concrete walkway then the curb. Then when Homer steps out of the car, the grass goes right up to the curb's edge, but when Bart asks about pants, the walkway is back again between the grass and curb. (00:13:05)

Russ Cargill: Of course I have! Have you ever tried going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you.

Trivia: Near the end there's a scene where Homer picks up Marge on the motor bike and in the background you can see Otto and his old girlfriend Becky hugging (these two were about to get married in season 11 but didn't because Otto chose his music instead of Becky).

Question: Why did Grandpa join the angry mob? It would make much more sense if he was either on his family's side or simply remained completely neutral.

Answer: The family doesn't treat him very well, particularly Homer. He may have wanted some revenge on them. Grampa is also a little senile.
