Corrected entry: Angelina and Brad try to kill each other in their house and the neighbors knock on the door to find out what is going on. When the door is first opened, Angelina is standing on one side of Brad, then goes to a shot of the neighbors, then a shot of Angelina and she is standing on the other side of Brad.

Correction: There is a really long pause between seeing Angelina at Brad's side and Brad opening the door to reveal Angelina in a sheet. She has ample time to move. If you're talking about after the door was opened, your eyes are playing tricks on you- she stays on Brad's left the entire time.

Corrected entry: Whenever Adam Brody's character is seen on a computer screen he has tattoos going up his neck but whenever you see him in person in the movie the tattoos aren't there.

Correction: The tattoos were probably digitally added to the photographs by John & Jane's conspiring superiors. Remember, they were supposed to believe the character was dangerous and needed to be assassinated while he was actually just bait to get the Smiths to eliminate each other.

Corrected entry: After John Smith fires the bazooka at Jane Smith's hideout, Jane's laptop gets partially damaged, but when John examines the laptop, it's totally destroyed.

Correction: Jane had more than one laptop in her hideout and the place was basically destroyed.

Corrected entry: At the start of the movie Brad Pitt is driving a Cadillac. Later when he is racing to make it home before Angelina Jolie, the front view of his car as he slides into the driveway is a Lincoln. It isn't until much later in the movie that he steals a Lincoln limousine.

Correction: Actually, he switches to the Lincoln right after Mexico. He hadn't stolen the limo yet.

Correction: When he is racing home is directly after he stole the limo from the guy. Therefore, he would be driving a Lincoln.

Corrected entry: When John Smith is receiving information on Benjamin "Tank" Diaz, he is told the only weak spot is 10 miles north of the border. Jane Smith is told the only weak spot is just south of the border. Even though they receive different areas to go to, they show up at the same place. (00:27:00)

Correction: Different borders. Their agencies are working out of neighboring countries.

Even if the agency wasn't based in the US the building she entered for the brief is in New York, 570 Lexington ave. This being the case saying south of the border would imply a different place since she's north of the boarder at the time.

Corrected entry: When the Smiths are in the basement during the shoot out with their agencies, a grenade bounces in and explodes under a tank of fuel oil, causing a tremendous explosion that levels the house. First, the shoot out in the kitchen showed the house was using natural gas, especially when one of them created a fireball by disconnecting the line (who then shut it off?), you wouldn't have both fuels in the house. Second, fuel oil burns but is not that volatile and would not create such an explosion.

Correction: A house can use both. For example, my parents' house uses natural gas for the range, but fuel for heating.

Factual error: The movie is supposed to take place in and around New York City, however during the car chase where Angelina and Brad are fighting off the three BMW's, a wide shot clearly shows a street sign announcing Los Angeles.

Jane: There's this huge space between us, and it just keeps filling up with all the things we don't say to each other. What's that called?

Trivia: A subtle clue that Brad Pitt is a secret agent/spy: he drinks vodka martinis with two olives - shaken, not stirred - just like that other famous spy, James Bond.

Question: How does Mrs. Smith get to know that her husband is the shooter?

Answer: She notices that he shakes his right leg twice after peeing, just like her husband.

Answer: It comes down to a deleted scene. And I remember it as clear as day from when I saw it at the cinemas. There is a scene where Jane is brushing her teeth at the basin. John walks into the large bathroom and begins to take a leak. As John finishes up, Jane looks over her shoulder at him, just in time to see him lift one leg and give it a couple of sharp shakes. Later in the movie, after the ailed assignment/shootout in the desert, Jane is watching the footage of the other assassin doing the very same memorable action. Right as she is in the middle of replaying it back a couple of times, John turns up at her building, and one of her agents who has answered the intercom says, "Jane, it's your husband." And that is when the penny drops! For some bizarre, unknown reason, they removed that very important key bathroom scene from every TV and DVD release, leaving people who did not see the theatrical release at the box office asking the question of how Jane realized it was her husband.

Answer: From the way he stands and moves, height, weight and general mannerisms.

Answer: They worked for different agencies and were unaware that they had been given the same target (Diaz?) to kill in the desert. Mrs Smith initially thought that Mr Smith was a civilian that just happened to interfere with her assignment. She was given 48 hours to identify and eliminate (kill) the "witness." While reviewing the videotape of the scene, all Mrs Smith could see was the back side of the "civilian." While still looking at him, a secretary or similar employee yelled from outside the room that Mrs Smith's husband was on the phone and was back from his trip to Atlanta. By the secretary saying, "It's your husband" during the time Mrs Smith was looking at his back side on the tape, plus the information that he was back from Atlanta, it became obvious to her... and she wondered how she could have been so stupid to not know before this time.
