Continuity mistake: When the family walks into the flat and Archie is naked, he grabs a picture and puts it in front of him and you see his arms bent. The camera angle changes to a rear shot and his arms are now straight. The camera angle changes again and his arms are bent again. Happens about 3 times throughout the scene. (01:14:28)
Continuity mistake: When John Cleese has removed his clothes and the tenants of the flat come into the room, a quick rear view show that he has blue underwear on, when he's supposed to be naked. (01:14:46)
Suggested correction: This is barely visible on the full screen version. When the picture is properly matted for widescreen, it is not visible at all.
Continuity mistake: After Ken has killed the last dog the rope is stacked on one side of the box that dropped on the dog. When it cuts from an overhead shot the rope is stacked on the other side of the box. (01:16:00)
Continuity mistake: When Ken tells Otto they can pick up the loot at Heathrow and get away all thanks to him, he points out his hand to touch Otto's noose. At that time his thumb is in touch with his middle finger. When it cuts his thumb is sticking out. (01:18:45)
Continuity mistake: When Otto is interrogating Ken he sticks some chips up Ken's nose. At one point, before Otto asks where the diamonds are, there are traces of ketchup on one of the chips that disappear two shots later. (01:19:50)
Continuity mistake: When Otto has eaten all the fish and Ken realize Otto wants to eat the fish Wanda, Otto is turning around against Ken. When it cuts Otto is still facing the fish tank. (01:21:40)
Continuity mistake: When Ken is telling Otto that everything is going to work out thanks to him, you see him poke Otto's nose with his right hand and then lower his hand to his side. The camera angle changes and Ken's hand is back up again below his face. (01:22:01)
Continuity mistake: When Ken has the bandage going round his head, both the bandage and the tape securing it - particularly the size and position of the tape strips, differ in consecutive shots throughout the scenes. One example is when Otto shares his chips with Ken and then enjoys his lovely little fish. (01:22:40)
Continuity mistake: When Otto is putting the french fries (chips) in Ken's nose, he puts the second one in his nose and then you see him chewing. The problem is that he didn't have anything in his mouth because he was asking Ken questions right before he put the second one in his nose. (01:22:56)

Continuity mistake: After Otto has shot the hat off the man he pulls his arm inside the car and puts it on the steering wheel. When it cuts he is waving with his arm outside the window. (01:30:30)
Continuity mistake: When Archie goes to talk to George after the melee in court, Archie tells the guards to leave and you see one of the guards crossing his arms. The camera angle changes and the same guard is seen crossing his arms again. (01:30:30)

Continuity mistake: When Ken is writing on the newspaper which hotel Otto and Wanda went to, he places his left hand on the paper. When it cuts to a close-up of him writing his hand is gone. (01:32:10)
Continuity mistake: When Otto is trying to drive away in Archie's car he gets into an accident and then he shoots the hat off the owner of the other car. The problem is that he aims and shoots the gun almost 4 feet to the right of where the man is standing and the hat is still shot off his head. (01:34:14)
Continuity mistake: At the airport when Otto is pointing the gun at Archie, he is pointing the gun straight at Archie. When it cuts to Otto firing the first shot he is pointing the gun diagonally. (01:36:00)
Continuity mistake: When Archie gets to the barrel of waste oil he has his right arm up. When it cuts it's down. (01:36:25)
Continuity mistake: The flight to Rio is leaving at Gate 14, but you see Wanda going in the wrong direction even though there is a sign in front of her that says Gate 14 is in the opposite direction that she is going. (01:38:49)
Continuity mistake: After Archie gets out of the barrel of oil, he is then seen running around on the tarmac under the jet looking for a way to get on, but he's not dripping anywhere and he's leaving no oily footprints. (01:39:05)
Continuity mistake: When Otto is leading Archie on the planks to put him in the barrel, you see Otto stepping off the plank onto the wet cement. The camera angle changes and Otto now has both feet on the plank. (01:40:19)
