Corrected entry: In the scene where Cady says, "She's never lived in a world where adults don't trust her," the camera shows a couple of teachers lecturing her. The foreign language teacher is obviously not Spanish, but German. Later when Damian reads her schedule, he says "Health, Spanish."
Corrected entry: In the scene where Ms. Norberry makes the girls write out apologies for each other, a girl in a wheelchair and a blue hat has an apology. She's facing the audience. In order for her to fall into the crowd, she would have had to rotate her wheelchair around. But in the next shot she's 'magically' facing backwards.
Correction: Much of this scene is discontinuous because it is heavily edited so that we don't have to see every person climb up on the table, make their entire apology, and fall. It's fair to say that the rotation occurred offscreen in a few seconds of elapsed time.
Corrected entry: On Wednesday, the Plastics always wear pink, and Friday is the only day that they are allowed to wear jeans. So Cady borrows the pink shirt to wear the next day, but she wears it with jeans, which are only allowed on Fridays.
Correction: Cady wore jeans with her pink shirt, because she had not yet learned of the jeans on Fridays rule.
Corrected entry: When Aaron is tutoring Cady, he says that sometimes the product of two negative numbers is positive. The product of two negative numbers is ALWAYS positive.
Correction: It's well established that Aaron isn't very good at math. Character mistake, not a movie mistake.
Corrected entry: During the Jingle Bell song, though Cady's hat stays tilted to the same side, it moves from up near her hairline to down by her eyebrow.
Correction: The hat would've moved around if she was dancing. Especially with all the jumps etc.
Corrected entry: When Cady is breaking the Tiara crown into the pieces and throws them to the other queens, and subsequently the crowd, she should have run out of pieces after about three people. She seems to chuck out enough for six or seven crowns.
Correction: If you look closely enough you can see that she breaks down the pieces in to smaller pieces making more pieces of tiara to give away.
Corrected entry: If Regina truly fractured her spine at the end of one school year, she could not play lacrosse at the beginning of the next school year, about two months later.
Correction: Lacrosse is a sport played in the spring. That would give Regina almost a full year to recover. If she had a fast recovery and/or a minor fracture, its possible she could have played.
Corrected entry: When Cady is announced as the queen at spring festival she takes the crown and says everyone deserves some of it and she breaks it up into pieces and gives it out. When she tells Mr Douvall to wrap it up she is walking away and is taking the crown off her head?
Correction: Cady is only putting a small piece of what is left of the crown on her head.
Corrected entry: During the Jingle Bell Rock dance, Cady's hat goes from left and right so it's hanging down by her right or left ear, switching throughout the scene.
Correction: Cady's as well as the other girls' stay on their left side for the whole song.
Corrected entry: When Regina has dropped all the "Burn Book" flyers all over the floor of the hallway at school, it seems pretty odd that everyone just happened to pick up the page that had something about themselves on it. There were so many papers on the floor that it's highly unlikely each person's page would be right at their feet.
Correction: Not everyone's fell right at their feet. You saw a few poeple go and look for their own one.
Corrected entry: When Cady bumps Ms. Norbury on the first day of school, if you go frame-by-frame, you can see that Norbury spills the drink away from herself. It's only in the next shot that the cup turns toward her. (00:02:45)
Correction: If you have to go frame by frame, it's not a movie mistake.
Correction: She could be taking two languages, there's usually room for and elective in a high school schedule and some people do elect to take two foreign language classes.
